Oakley closed his eyes, feeling the heat of the sun on his face as he lay on the ground. He had been running for what felt like hours, but it seemed that the end of the world was still chasing him.

As he took a deep breath, he felt something next to him, and when he opened his eyes, he saw Billy's ghost lying next to him.

"Hey, Oakley," Billy said, his voice soft and gentle.

"Billy?" Oakley asked, surprised. "What's going on?"

"The end of the world, I guess," Billy said with a shrug. "But at least we're together."

Oakley looked around and saw that the world was indeed ending. The sky was a deep shade of red, and the ground was shaking beneath them.

"I'm sorry," Oakley said, tears streaming down his face. "I'm sorry for everything."

"It's okay, Oakley," Billy said, putting his hand on Oakley's shoulder. "I forgive you."

Oakley took a deep breath and closed his eyes once more, feeling a sense of peace wash over him. He knew that the end was near, but he was no longer afraid.

As the world exploded around them, Oakley and Billy's ghost held each other tightly, feeling the warmth of each other's presence as they passed into the unknown.
