After staring at her for a moment, Trevor held out his hand.

"It's been a while. I'm glad you became my lieutenant."

Fortunately for Trevor, who considers himself lacking in social skills, the woman appointed as his lieutenant was a comrade from the same Shadow Marshal who risked his life in the past war.

The legendary ISA special forces, Shadow Marshals, who make even their allies feel respect and awe toward to them.

The squad that Trevor was in was the Black Squad, a platoon specializing in black ops, commonly referred to as 'E Squad' or 'Reapers disguised as shadows'.

It is a place where the crew is likely to be in distress because they are put into a dangerous mission.

That's why there is no choice but to be friendly with the blue squad, agent rescue team which Diana belonged to.

If a stranger had been appointed as his lieutenant, he would have been in great trouble.

It was probably the HQ's intention to send someone familiar with him to lower his guard even a little, but it was a small consideration for Trevor.

"Yes, I'll do my best."

Lieutenant Cross smiled warmly as he took Trevor's outstretched hand.  He saw her smile and somehow calmed his heart.

Trevor was walking towards the ship he was going to board, talking about the operation with Diana.

Upon reaching the aircraft carrier ISA Valkyrie, they were greeted by a middle-aged man wearing an ISA Navy combat uniform right in front of them.

"Major Reznik! It's really nice to see you again!"

"Captain Garrison! It's great to see you again too!"

Trevor exchanged greetings with a relationship he hadn't seen in a long time.

Trevor received a report from his adjutant, Lieutenant Diana, and boarded the ISA Valkyrie with Captain Garrison. As they entered the bridge with a much lighter heart, one of the crew members saluted and shouted.

"Captain on the bridge!"

The crew of the ISA Valkyrie, who were gathered in groups of threes and threes all over the bridge, saluted in unison, and Captain Garrison took the captain's seat while receiving the salute.

"Captain? I heard that another mission was given to us, is that true?"

"Yes. Upon arrival on Earth, we will assist the Shadow Marshal in special operations including intelligence gathering, infiltration and investigation missions."

After the captain's words, the crew looked at Trevor and Cross. Although many crew members have been replaced, there are still many crew members from the Second Extrasolar War.

"For those who don't know, Major Trevor and Lieutenant Cross were the ones who provided information on the operation to neutralize the Helghast fleet during the last war."

Several crew members recognized the two standing behind the captain. Although many of the ship's crew were replaced, it was because there were still many crew members from the time of the war.

"This is Lieutenant Cross, who has been appointed as my adjutant. She will be with me for a while, so let's know that."

Captain Garrison passed by Trevor and the crew, who were greeting each other, and manipulated the display panel on the captain's seat. A number of windows floated on the screen, and Garrison enlarged one of them.
