1950s AU: Where Yoongi meets a girl during summer break and they fall in love, but when school starts, things between them change.

After their first encounter at the beach, Yoongi and Lottie made sure that it wouldn't just be a one time thing. Yoongi had to see her again.
So their next date happened at the same spot, only this time Yoongi brought her some food that he had "accidentally" made, meaning he made extra on purpose so they could have a nice little picnic. He'd never felt so attracted to a chick before, especially not the goody two-shoes, square-type, yet Lottie seemed like so much more.
She made her way up their rock, her heart was pounding and she was genuinely so excited to see him again.
"Hey Yoongs!" She greeted him sweetly, she looked, beautiful even, she wore set of patterned shorts and crop top, it was pastel blue and white, her skin popped thanks to it.
"Hey dolly, you're a sight to see," he complimented the brunette, whose cheeks immediately got rosy.
"You don't look so bad yourself," she replied with a shy giggle.
She took a seat next to him and took in her surroundings, a few burgers, a big basket of fries and two big milkshakes.
Yoongi had his typical elephant trunk style,he was wearing tan beach trunks, a white undershirt, and a red bomber jacket. He was a dreamboat for sure.
"I hope you have a camera," Yoongi joked, they both chuckled remembering the day before, when Lottie had told him to take a picture of her since it would last longer and he said he'd forgotten his. They continued their date, talking and getting to know each other, and just like the day prior, they ended up staying out later, actually way later than what she was expecting.
"Oh it's past 10, my folks will kill me if I don't head back," Lottie started cleaning after herself, Yoongi watched her before he started cleaning as well.
"Let me walk you back! I have to get back to my room too, my parents are super insistent that I complete my summer reading." Yoongi offered as you both folded the picnic blanket.
"Boarding school must be a lot of work, I can only imagine being an honors student on top of that," the girl who had captivated him spoke, and he started feeling nervous, he might've gotten around, but that didn't mean he enjoyed lying.
"Right right, honestly it's a bit of a drag, but it makes my folks happy," he rubbed the nape of his neck nervously, right now he was certainly glad that she didn't know him well.
He grabbed the picnic basket and got down from the rock first, extending his hand out to Lottie to help her get down, which she took happily.
Yoongi got the zorros right away, he felt the hair in his arms perk up, and then he felt her shiver. He immediately took off his jacket and placed it over her shoulders.
"You didn't have to do that," she looked down so he wouldn't see her face go bright red. "Big deal, I wanted to so I did it," he chuckled, holding her hand tightly as they walked back to the hotel.
