Flower
My body has never been so sore like it is now. I regret letting my vines lose but I couldn't let him to touch me. Porlaris and I have been in our cell all while the rest of the pod was out in the yard. "Inmates turn around and face the door one by one" a guard comes and yells into our cell I go first letting him put the cuffs on me. After they put the cuffs on Porlaris they escort us to another part of the prison where we see a man with a sitenal service uniform waiting for us "take the collar of the flower girl they other one keeps hers on" the man says the other officers look at him skeptical until they do what he says. They place us into a transport van with tiny cells mine being a metal box, as they force me into the box I see a man in his own cage made of plastic same as Porlaris before we move the man from earlier comes in and looks at me from the small window of my cage "have fun making your flowers in a dark metal box for the rest of your life" he says and then spits at me and walks out the van and that when I feel myself being taken away and my energy leaving me. "Do you know where we are going" I hear Porlaris as the man in the cage beside her "I know as much as you do" he says "Flower you okay" she ask me now "No...no light" I say weakly. My body is just like a plant I need sun light or just light in general to help me live and breath and being cut off for even this short amount of time is taking affect on me "it's gonna be okay Flower just hang on" she said and I just nod evens though she can't see me.
1 Hour later
I don't know what's going on all I can feel is us driving until I hear a bang and our car goes crazy "ALL UNITS PROTECT THE TRANSPORT" I hear someone yell from the outside and begin to get scared "Flower I need you to be calm when I ask you to do this okay" I move to the front of my cage so she can see my eyes "let them out" she mouths to me and I shake my head "You have to flower it's the only way" she says and I feel like I have to chose if I should leave this hell that's been my life for 12 years or see what it's like to be free. My inner turmoil is cut short when I hear fighting from the outside and the guard leaves us "now flower" she says and I release my vines and wrap them around the collar that's on her neck and pull my hands apart as hard as I can cause the vines to rip the collars in half. I get very weak after doing so that I feel myself slipping into sleep "Flower stay with me" I hear Polaris yell I fight for my eyes to stay open "I'm gonna get us out of here okay put I need you awake okay" she says I nod hearing the man and her talk and then I hear a scream come from the man next to us. I wait until I see Polaris at my cage door and bust my out. She looks at me and see me delirious "come on flower let's go" she says helping me walk as Polaris the man and I bust out the bus and into a car with a man with a frantic look in his eyes until he see
I start to feel better when I felt the Sun start to warm my skin. Me and the man get into one car while Polaris gets into another and I feel panic creep into my body "Flower these people are the family I was talking about okay they won't hurt you but I have to go in this car okay you'll be fine I promise" she looks at me and I nod. She runs off and we drive off somewhere and I just hope I made the right decision.
We get to a big building in the middle of the woods the sight cause me to relax seeing the nature around my new 'home' "Come on hon we have to stay inside" the older blond lady tells me I nod and head inside with the group a man with black raven hair looks at me skeptical my face remains blank not trusting any body but Polaris.

I snuck out the old building not liking being in an unfamiliar place with unfamiliar people. I blend into nature that is around me as I sit on the ground connecting with the earth for what feels like o life time since the last time I was able to. "FLOWER" I hear yell from the building, I feel the panic fill me "FLOWER ITS ME POLARIS COME OUT PLEASE" I hear the voice yell causing me to break away from my vines and walk to her "oh there you are what are you doing out here" "I... Don't know... people" I say frustrated about how stupid I sound "okay well I'm here let's get you to a room" she says and I shake my head "why not you can't sleep out here flower it's not safe" she sounds concerned and I smile softly at her "come on I'll introduce you and tell them about you if that's okay" she ask and I nod already missing the outside.
We get inside and every one turn towards us and Polaris begins speaking "everyone this is Flower she is the other person who we rescued from the convoy she helped us get here" she says everyone claps causing me to hide behind her "she's different from us but the same as well she can't talk cause she doesn't know how" she looks to me as if asking permission to keep talking about me and my life and I nod "before she got locked up. She was a weapon for the cartel only being talked to, and was used only when needed. She never learned basic communication like we all did so please be patient. The world has not been kind to her and I know we all know how that feels" she ends her statement and everyone nods, giving me sympathy smiles. The man that has his arms around her, looks at me with the most sympathy, causing me to shift uncomfortably and the man from earlier with raven hair now tied up in a man bun looks at me with an unfamiliar emotion that I cannot detect. "I... Go to sleep now.. where" I ask low enough for only Porlaris to hear. She smiles lightly at me and begins to take me up the stairs to some rooms. " you're going to be sharing with a girl name Clarice I hope that's okay" I nod feeling a good vibe front the room with the big window "can I talk to the new girl for a second" the raven haired man and Porlaris's boyfriend step into the room. She looks to me and I just nod wanting for tomorrow to come already.
