Tine kept rubbing his hands together and placing them on his cheeks to enjoy the slight warmth. He stood in the balcony with his roommate Ren and it was pretty cold in the night,but enjoyable atmosphere.

"Tine, there's a missed call from your father"Ren said,he was coming back to Tine with two cups of coffee and Tine took one from him.

"Hmm. Don't mind it"Tine said and Ren nodded.

"Ah, I wanted to ask this to you two days ago but I forgot"Ren said and Tine chuckled.

"What is it?"

"You and that guy.....what was his name again? The friend of MJ-"

"Sarawat"Tine said with a small smile and Ren nodded.

"Yes, Sarawat. Are you guys like best friends? He looked a bit too happy to see you"Ren said and Tine nodded.

"Well, not best friends. But we're good friends. If there were chances for us to work together or study together more during school, I'm sure we would've became some iconic bestfriends"Tine said and Ren chuckled.

"He and that MJ guy are like so different. Aren't they? Like, MJ is sort of a talkative guy and probably more friendly which is the total opposite of Sarawat"Ren said and Tine shook his head.

"Sarawat indeed is not that loud. But he's pretty talkative and loud around his bestfriends. I think he's still adjusting to the new environment"Tine said and Ren raised an eyebrow.

"Really?"

"Hm. His bestfriends used to be Man and Gun. They both are really more fun and loud and Sarawat with them looked so happy. I still remember girls and boys falling head over heels for Sarawat but his friends often shoo them away. They are like,very protective and caring to Sarawat. I wonder how they're doing, the last time I saw them was on the graduation day"Tine said and Ren smirked.

"Tell me more"Ren said and Tine cocked his eyebrow.

"What more?"

"You seem a lot talkative and interested talking about Sarawat. How come?"Ren asked,not even trying to hide the meaningful smile and Tine chuckled.

"I won't lie. I actually wanted to be his friend. I don't know why, but I just felt something good about him. Like he's a good person? Like I could be close to him? He's harmless? I don't know the reason, it's just the feels"Tine shrugged.

"Hmmmmmm,the feels? I see"Ren chuckled and Tine slapped on his arm playfully.

For a few more seconds Tine went on being teased by Ren until Tine pouted and turned away from Ren.

Ren smiled and stared at Tine for sometime and sighed.

"But........ I'm happy to see you being happy about something. It's nice to see you forgetting the bad parts"Ren said and Tine just smiled, but not that happy cute smile. It was rather forced or like a scoff.

"Hmm, you're right........... it feels good to be happy"Tine chuckled later and Ren nodded.

"Talking about it, didn't Sarawat noticed these? Did he asked you something? Was he worried?"Ren asked pointing at the healing wounds on Tine's skin and Tine shook his head.

"Poor man looked so shocked to see me. I bet he couldn't have noticed......but,"

"But what?"Ren asked and Tine let out a long sigh and looked at the streetlight outside their hostel flickering on and off before completing going off.

"Even if he noticed, it's not like we're that close for him to be worried about me"

Ren could sense the disappointment in Tine's voice.
