I walked down the hall listening to Monique go on about boys. I leaned against the wall and stared at her. Is it ever going to stop? I thought furrowing my eyebrows when she mentioned my ex boyfriend. I turned to see Tania walking down the hall. "Hi." She said as she got closer offering me a warm as mile and open arms. "Hi." I said snuggling into her shoulders. The soft aroma moving its way into my nostrils. I pulled away and looked at Monique who was staring at us smiling. Zoe showed up asking for Mrs. Terrasaz. "You should probably wait till your period to give her that." Monique said. "Cause she's not going to be here for a while." I focused back on Tania as she ate strawberries.
Mrs. Terrasaz walked by and I moved out of the way. "Hey guys." She said tugging on her key and opening the door. We walked in and I sat right in the middle of the first row. Monique sat on my right and Tania sat on my left. "Tomorrows the last day of school." Said Monique smiling and waving her hands around. I dodged a hand from hitting my nose. Mrs. Terrasaz put on the movie and I leaned on Tania's shoulder blinking slowly. I put my hand on the desk and started drifting off.
I woke up to see Tania's hand over mine. I smiled at the sight. She looked down at me and gave me a warm smile. I smiled back and focused on the movie. It was about a group of kids entering a robotics contest. No wonder I fell asleep. I thought as I repositioned on her arm. I let her fingers slip in between mine as she repositioned too. "Okay guys... here's the Bahama bucks." My teacher said walking in with a couple of bags. Everybody started talking. Oh gosh. Why does everybody instantly start talking after something happens. I thought looking behind me.
