I walked into the cafeteria already a loud beat running through the giant speakers. Tania rubbed my shoulder heading to the wall. "No no. Youre the one who makes me dance now you're dancing." I said pulling her hands lifting her off the white wall. I shook her shoulders making her laugh and shimmy smiling at her cuteness.
When she went back to the wall I sighed and walked away deciding there was no use. Cielo squealed when she saw me and opened her arms for me to enter. I, willingly, cuddled into them thoughts of Tania swarming through my head.
Alittle while later I found a Mexican song on and Cielo teaching me how to dance. She put my hands on her shoulders and put her hands on my waist. 'No no no stop.' I thought Tania swarming into my head. I noticed a big comosion go on in the background and my friend Aileen came to me telling me Tania got jealous. 'Shit.' I ran around the dance floor searching for her finally finding her crying in the corner. I knelt down next to her curling my arms around her legs trying to smile but I couldn't.
I finally gave up, smiled, and walked away finding a blank spot against the wall, trying not to let tears slip.
I finally gave up on my thoughts and walked back to Tania seeing her arms flail out and her reach for me. I knelt down next to her hovering over her protectively and hugged her, smoothing circles into her shoulder. I sat down curling my arms around her legs the way they were earlier. I smoothed back her sweaty curls, softly kissing her forehead. "I'm sorry." I whispered feeling my heart jump out of my chest. She shook her head a frown forming across her beautiful face. But I'm sorries swarming in my head. I just kept wiping back Tania's curls and tried to make her smile. Sometimes working but it soon faded away. I closed my eyes and tucked my face in her knees having a huge headache cross around my head.
When the dance was over, we said our goodbyes and I left, heart breaking in pieces and eyes burning in guilt. I'm so sorry.
