Luigi slowly opened his eyes and groaned as his head throbbed withpain. He tried to move, but found that he was restrained by some sortof straps. Looking around, he realized that he was in a strange lab, with all sorts of unfamiliar equipment surrounding him.

Suddenly, two scientists entered the room, dressed in lab coatsand goggles. They approached him with an air of authority, and Luigicouldn't help but feel intimidated by their presence.

"Ah, you're awake," said one of the scientists, a tallman with a thick mustache. "We've been waiting for you to regainconsciousness."

Luigi glared at them, feeling angry and frustrated at beingcaptured.

"What do you want from me?" he demanded.

The other scientist, a woman with glasses, stepped forward andexplained, "We need your help. You see, we are studying theChaos Hearts, and we believe that you have information that could bevaluable to our research."

Luigi's eyes widened in surprise. He had no idea what they weretalking about.

"What are these Chaos Hearts?" he asked.

The scientists exchanged a glance, then the man spoke up. "Theyare ancient artifacts of immense power. We believe that they hold thekey to unlocking new forms of energy that could revolutionize theworld as we know it."

Luigi was skeptical. "And you think I have information aboutthem?"

The woman nodded. "Yes, we believe that you were taken by thesame group that stole the Chaos Hearts. They must have interrogatedyou for information."

Luigi shook his head. "I don't remember anything about that.I was just attending a party with my brother, and then someonegrabbed me."

The scientists looked disappointed, but not surprised. "Verywell," said the man. "We'll have to find another way toextract the information we need."

They stepped back and began to whisper to each other, occasionallyglancing over at Luigi. He felt uneasy, as if they were plottingsomething behind his back.

Suddenly, the door to the lab burst open, and a figure dressed ina cloak entered the room. Luigi couldn't see their face, but he couldsense their presence. The scientists immediately fell to their knees, bowing in respect.

"Report," the figure said, their voice deep andmenacing.

The scientists quickly explained their situation, telling thefigure about the Chaos Hearts and Luigi's potential knowledge ofthem. The figure listened intently, then turned to Luigi.

"You could be of great use to us," the figure said, their voice laced with a hint of danger.

Luigi shook his head. "I don't know anything," heinsisted.

The figure approached him, their cloak billowing behind them.Luigi could see their eyes gleaming in the dim light.

"We'll see about that," the figure said, and snappedtheir fingers.

Instantly, Luigi felt a wave of exhaustion wash over him. He triedto fight it, but his eyes began to droop, and he soon found himselfdrifting off to sleep.

When he woke up again, he was alone in the lab. The scientistswere nowhere to be seen, and he was still strapped to the table. Hestruggled against his restraints, but they were too strong.

Feeling defeated, Luigi slumped back onto the table, wonderingwhat was going to happen to him next. He couldn't remember anythingabout the Chaos Hearts, but it was clear that he was in over hishead. All he could do now was wait and hope that his brother wouldcome to his rescue.

After being put back to sleep, Luigi had no idea how much time hadpassed when he woke up again. He was still in the same room, surrounded by strange machines and equipment. But this time, therewas someone new in the room with him.

"Good morning, Luigi," a voice said. "I hope you'refeeling well-rested."

Luigi sat up groggily and looked around. He saw a tall figurestanding in the shadows, watching him intently.

"Who are you?" Luigi asked, trying to keep his voicesteady.

The figure stepped forward, revealing a face that was bothfamiliar and unfamiliar at the same time. It was the unknown enemywho had kidnapped him at the party.

"I am the one who brought you here," the enemy said."And I am also the one who wants the chaos hearts."

Luigi felt a surge of anger. "What do you want with them?"he demanded.

The enemy smiled slyly. "Oh, many things. Power, of course. But also knowledge. You see, the chaos hearts are not just objects ofpower. They are also keys to unlocking hidden knowledge and secrets. And I believe that with their power and knowledge, I can change theworld."

Luigi shook his head in disbelief. "That's insane," hesaid. "You can't just use people and objects for your own gain."

The enemy chuckled. "Ah, but that's where you're wrong, mydear Luigi. People and objects are meant to be used. It's just amatter of who is doing the using."

Luigi frowned, not sure what to say. He didn't want to believethat people could be so cruel and selfish.

Suddenly, the door to the room burst open, and the two scientistsfrom before rushed in.

"Boss, we need to talk to you," one of them saidurgently.

The enemy sighed. "Fine," he said. "But we'llcontinue this conversation later, Luigi."

Before Luigi could respond, the enemy and the scientists left theroom, leaving him alone once again.

Luigi sat there, deep in thought. He didn't know what to do, buthe knew he had to find a way to stop the enemy from using the chaoshearts for his own selfish purposes. He just didn't know how.

As he lay back down on the bed, he couldn't help but wonder ifMario was still looking for him. He hoped that his brother was safe, and that he would be able to rescue him soon.
