Chapter 2: meeting

Yoimiya's POV

"Calm down Yoimiya," I told myself.
"Yoimiya? Are you okay?" My dad, Ryuunosuke, asked.
"Uh- Uhm- Yea! I'm totally fine!" I nervously replied.
"Hmm, better be, we're meeting the Heng family so you have to look happy." My dad told.
"Yes father, I will." I promised him.

About 1 hour later, we got to the Heng's Castle. I walked up nervously. My dad, who was in front of me, knocked on the gate.

A voice spoke up, "Excuse me sir, who are you?"
"I'm Naganohara Ryuunosuke, here to see Heng Youke." My dad spoke with confidence.
"Oh, my apologies, you must be the guests Mr. Heng had invited over?" The mysterious voice asked.
"Yes, now are allowed to step inside?" Ryuunosuke questioned.
"Yes sir, you may step inside." The voice replied.

I walked up the stairs nervously, this castle was big, probably bigger than ours! And this 'Heng' guy, I don't even know him! We reached the top of the stairwell, there was a room with people that seems like they were the owner of this castle. Before I stepped in, Ryuunosuke suddenly reminded me:
"Why do you look so pale? Clear it up! You can't look like that, change your expression, it looks like you're dead."

As I hear him speak, I wiped off the sweat on my forehead and calmed myself down before we went inside.

"Father, I am finished." I told him.
"Finally, now lets go in." He said.

I opened the door, full of anxiety, suddenly, a voice started speaking, "Well hello, seems like you have arrived with your beautiful daughter, Mr. Naganohara."

I took a seat as well as my father, I was trying to look as normal and calm as possible while my dad was talking.

"Well, here is my daughter, she is so beautiful isn't she?" My dad exclaimed.
"Yes, we're are looking for a match with our son, Tomioka Heng." The old looking man with a long beard and white hair said.

While my dad was talking about us dating, the guy on the other end was looking straight at me! He was staring at me like some freak, I was feeling incredibly uncomfortable! But I didn't look back, I just stared at the ground. But suddenly...

"Well, when are we planning the marriage?" My dad asked.
"Yes! Next week is the perfect timing!" The old man excitedly laughed.

"What..?" I asked my dad.
"What now, Yoimiya?" My dad looked at me with confusion.
"Why we're you talking about me marrying me to THIS?" I asked angered and confused while pointing to the prince in-front of me.
"Yoimiya! Who are you calling 'this'? That is the prince, Tomioka Heng! The person you're getting married to!" Ryuunosuke shouted at me while also signaling me to apologize.
"No, you said we were just meeting up." I told him.
"My apologies Mr. Heng, let me talk to my daughter for one second." Ryuunosuke excused looking extremely angry at me. He pulled me over and asked,
"What we're you thinking!? This family is rich and we can get loads from them!" Ryuunosuke shouted like he was about to explode.
"So all you care about is wealth, correct?" I asked, sarcastically.
"No, Yoimiya, go and apologize NOW." My dad demanded.
"I am not marrying that man!" I yelled.
"I'm sorry father, I can't." I almost started crying.

I ran down the stairs as quick as possible, trying to go faster than my dad could catch up to me. After I got down, I felt disappointed, "why didn't my dad understand what I was feeling?"
I kept walking, I said to myself, "it's fine." x3000.
Until finally, when I was walking, I suddenly bumped into someone, "Ouch- I'm so sorry!" I apologized. Until then, I looked at there face and what do you know? It's the girl from earlier today!
