Ayaka's POV
"Hello, brother." I said walking up to the living room. "Hello Ayaka, where we're you today?" He, my brother, Ayato, asked.
"I was outside buying some clothes today." I replied, as well as taking a seat. "Why do your eyes look so tired?" I asked, "Oh, it was just some paperwork." He replied, it made me concerned.
"Brother? Can I ask you something?" I asked. "What is it?" He replied.
"What does love feel like?" I asked.
"Well- " before he could finish, I jumped in.
"Is it how you feel with Thoma?" I asked again,
"..."

After I said that, I saw Ayato's face turn pinkish right after, he tried laughing it off, but I knew what it meant.

"Well, it is when you feel a special feeling towards someone, or want to be with them." He answered, trying to get off the topic of him and Thoma, our housekeeper.
"But why are you asking? Do you like anyone?" He said, smiling.
"Well.."
"I saw a girl today in Inazuma City, for some reason, I found her beautiful and couldn't stop thinking about it." I answered, scratching my head.
"What does 'she' look like?" Ayato asked once again, with this time, a smirk.
"Well, she has blonde hair with a bun, hazel eyes, and she was riding in a carriage." I told him.
"The girl was Naganohara Yoimiya I think, from what I saw..." I said.
"Really? Our families had a great connection with them when mother and father were alive.." he said.
"Really? Then why don't I recognized her?" I asked.
"Our connections with the family suddenly cut off just 3 months after mother and father passed." He replied.
"That is quite interesting..."

Yoimiya's POV
It was getting late, I needed to get back home. "My father, he'll be furious when he sees me!" I thought, sweating.
I made it home, exhausted. I didn't even want to open the door! I had to, if I didn't, I would starve. I opened the door with the special key with flower patterns, it was the keys only the owners of this castle would have. I have never been home this late, I nervously walked up the stairs, one by one, it scared me even more, my father would call the guards and send me to the cell, he made that rule so I wouldn't go sneaking outside of the castle. When I finally made it to the top, I saw my father, half asleep, laying on the soft sofa, waiting for something, it was probably me.
"Father..?" I whispered, hoping he wouldn't hear.
"Who is thi- Yoimiya?!" My dad yelled, shocked at the same time. He made me sit down of the sofa, we were going to have a talk.
"Where were you all day?!" He shouted.
"I'm sorry..." I apologized, he probably either didn't hear it or he ignored it.
"Apologizing doesn't help! The Heng family canceled our meeting! We just lost a load of money because of you!" He yelled, while still blaming it all on me.
"Yes, father.." I just sat there not saying anything because I know everything I say will be used against me.
"Ugh, now tell me, you're almost 18. Girls by 18 need to get a husband by now! Why aren't you interested in any of them?" He asked.
"I- I..." I mumbled.
"I what?" He said.
"I never said I liked princes..." I answered.
"What?" He stood, in confusion.
"What if I like princesses?" I told him.
"You're joking Yoimiya, girls can't date one another!" He shouted while pointing outside, indicating that there are no women outside who like the same gender.
"Dad! Then why are boys allowed to?" I questioned him.
"..T- that's a different story!" He stuttered.
"Hah," I sighed, "You're always have right, I won't bother anymore, I'll go to sleep."

I went to my room, thinking about the girl from today, I bumped into her the way home, it was so embarrassing! Her name, she told me, it was... Ayaka? I couldn't stop thinking about her, "maybe this is only temporarily feelings.." I thought, trying to get her off my mind, but I wasn't, I couldn't get her off my mind, not even for a second! I tried going to sleep, I was never this stressed before sleep!
