Good Morning

The first thing you noticed when you woke up was the comfort of the bed. Eyes still closed you yawned and stretched. That was the first sign of difference; you couldn't feel the edge of the bed; your bed was a standard queen size, and your arms usually grazed the edge when you stretched. Opening your eyes you were greeted by the dark, ornate furniture of a room that wasn't yours.

Before panic could set in you heard the soft murmurings of Leonora Lesso from outside the room. Suddenly flashbacks of yesterday set in. Memories of moments with the deans from the minute you left Lady Lesso's office to the second your eyes closed for the night.

Lesso's apartment was exactly as you expected and at the same time nothing like you imagined. The walls were a dark grey almost black color, precisely like you expected; what you didn't expect was the paintings; portraits and landscapes, and even abstract pieces hung tastefully throughout the room. There were plants everywhere; standing in corners, potted and hanging from the ceilings, and some charmed to float. And just as many plants as you could see there were three times as many books. Her shelves overflowed, and there were books on the stark white leather sofa, on the table in front of the sofa.

"Come on, y/n/n, I'll show you around in the morning. Let's get you changed and in bed."

At the mention of changing you realized that you blindly followed the deans, not even stopping to think about sleepwear.

"I don't have any clothes, what am I gonna sleep in?" you asked.

"I'll lend you something," Clarissa offered. "Lesso's clothes are way too big for you, I'm only a tad bit bigger than you."

The blonde woman reached across the small distance separating you, grabbed your hand, and started leading you through the home and into the master bedroom. You didn't have time to look around before she pulled you into the closet.

It was glaringly clear which side belonged to who; Lesso's side was home to the darker, cooler, blacks, greys, and stark whites while Dovey's was a rainbow of colors. It didn't take her long to find you something to wear.

A short navy blue satin cami dress, nothing like the ratty oversized shirts and hoodies you usually wore. The material felt heavenly in your hands.

"I'll give you some privacy to change." She left the closet, slightly closing the door behind her.

You took a moment to gather yourself before you started undressing.

Fumbling with the laces holding the dress to your form you wished you'd gone with a skirt ensemble this morning instead of the tightly laced-up dress. It took you more than 5 minutes to fully unlace and unbutton the dress.

"Y/n," Clarissa called from outside the door. "Is everything okay, in there?"

"Yeah, I'll be out in a second." You slipped into the dress. You were cocooned in a bubble of the blonde's scent; a comforting mixture of lavender and honeysuckle.

You took a minute before exiting, a minute to relax and find comfort in the warm scent surrounding you.

"Is it comfortable?" That was the first thing the blonde asked when she saw you.
