Mila sat down as she waited for Leon to wake up, also checking on him every now and then. There wasn't any bed to put him on so she made him as comfortable as possible. As Mila checked out the windows to make sure that none of the villagers were approaching, Mila saw Leon shift a little and he finally opened his eyes, waking up. He groaned and sat up looking around until he saw Mila, walking over to him.

"Leon, are you okay? What happened? You just blacked out there." She asked him in concern. Leon saw that the room was starting to spin again before his vision went stable and he slowly stood up.

"I don't know. How long was I out?" He asked her. Mila stared at him for a moment before she spoke.

"Six hours." She replied. Leon looked at her in disbelief and she continued to explain. "Hunnigan's been calling nonstop wanting to know the status of the mission."

"What did you tell her?" Leon asked.

"That you were incapacitated at the moment and that we're on our way to the church." Mila told him. "Do you think this is what that village chief was talking about?"

"Probably. Let's keep going." Leon murmured.

Leon and Mila left the cabin and saw that it was still raining outside and night had fallen as well. The rain was pouring down hard and the wind was blowing wildly. Mila and Leon used their flashlights to help walk around in the dark as they headed to the dam which they discovered the church key was it. As the two continued deeper, Mila and Leon saw a villager up ahead. He started to slowly come towards them, his body shaking uncontrollably. Then Mila and Leon's horror and shock, they saw the man's head explode as a large parasitic creature with long tentacles, one with a wide sickle like blade, burst out.

"What is this?!" Mila cried out in disgust.

"Doesn't matter. Keep shooting!" Leon shouted. Leon and Mila continued to fire a couple more rounds into the parasite and it exploded, the man's body fell to the ground. Leon and Mila stepped closer to take another look still in disbelief at what they had just witnessed.

"How many more are there like this one out there?" Mila asked.

"I don't want to stay here any longer to find out. Let's get that key and get out of this area." Leon said. The two quickly headed to the dam, fighting and taking out more villagers, some with parasites coming out of their heads also attacked them as well. After the last one fell, Leon and Mila found the church key that was hidden underneath the waterfall.

As the two headed back passing through the Quarry, the gates slammed down behind Leon and Mila trapping them inside.

"It's a trap!" Mila shouted. Several village ganados pulling ropes to open a tall door and an El Gigante came storming out. Leon and Mila slowly backed away as the massive creature began to wildly thrash about, killing all of the villagers in its path.

"You got to be kidding me!" Leon hissed. Then the giant turned its attention to Mila and Leon and charged at them. Leon and Mila quickly rolled out of the way, dodging the El Gigante and it crashed into the wall behind them.

"Come on, ugly. Let's dance." Mila pulled out her TMP and began firing rounds into the giant and Leon fired a few shot gun blasts as well. The creature let out a roar in pain and a large parasite sprouted out from the back of the Gigante. Leon quickly ran forwards and jumped onto its back and began hacking and slicing at it. The Gigante started to stand back up again and Leon flipped off and rolled on the ground, landing next to Mila. The Gigante let out an angry roar, getting ready to attack Leon and Mila again. From up above, Leon and Mila heard a howl and looked up to see the same white dog that they had helped.
