Leon sighed and walked over to the keys and grabbed them then walked to Mila unlocking the chains on her wrists. The two left the dark room and walked down a hallway and saw their stuff laying on a pile of boxed. Leon and Mila quickly grabbed their gear, putting it on and took their weapons and the rest of their items. Then the two heard a knock on a small, barred window and turned to find a strange, cloaked man, standing outside. His face was completely covered with a bandana, but Mila saw the man's piercing glowing red eyes staring back at hers.

"Over here! Got some rare things on sell if you're interested." The merchant gruff voice said and walked away out of Leon's and Mila's sight. Mila turned to Leon.

"Should we trust him? He's got the same eyes as the villagers that attacked us." She said to him. Leon frowned.

"Let's just take it slow and see what he wants." He told her. The two stepped outside and looked around for the man and saw him gesturing for them to follow him. Leon and Mila walked around the back of the building as they followed the merchant and saw a small shop set up. He turned around facing Leon and Mila and opened his cloak, revealing multiple magazines and more guns.

"What are you buying?" He asked them. Mila immediately spotted a small machine gun.

"I'll take that." She pointed out.

"And I'll take the rifle."

"Ah, thanks, strangers!" The merchant laughed and he handed the two guns over to Mila and Leon, along with a scope, for free of charge, and a couple of ammo. The two paid him the pesetas and took them from him.

"You seem like a pretty chill guy." Mila smiled. "How come you're not attacking us right now?"

"Ah, I guess you're referring to the others. I'm nothing like those fools." He told her.

"But you have red eyes like them."

"Not by choice." He replied.

"What's with the shop you got set up here?" She questioned.

"I'm part of a rebel army that is against The Los Illuminados. Gotta make my business somehow."

"Where are the others?" Mila asked.

"You're looking at them!" The merchant smiled.

Leon pulled Mila away, whispering. "You're asking too many questions. We're wasting time. We need to go." Mila nodded and Leon and her thanked the merchant and the two left, walking away.

Leon and Mila fought off a couple of the villagers and eventually the two made it to a large mansion. The two entered inside and searched around the house until they saw a door with the same insignia that they have seen all over. It was inside of a small crystal that appeared to be movable on the door. Mila adjusted the ball, making it line up with the symbol and the door clicked! Leon and Mila walked inside a bedroom. Across from them was a tall portrait of a hooded man with fierce eyes, covered in dark purple robes with the Ios Illuminados insignia. Mila stared at the painting while Leon looked around and searched through a desk, finding a key in one of the drawers.

"Got it!" Leon called out. He turned, seeing Mila still staring at the painting and walked over to her. He shook her shoulder. "Hey, snap out of it." Mila turned to him.

"Okay."

"You alright?" Leon asked her in concern.

"It's nothing. The painting's just a little disturbing." She told him.

They saw another door on the other side of the room, figuring it was a short cut. Leon opened it but stopped and so did Mila when they heard a couple of villagers below the steps, muttering amongst themselves.
