A thousand thoughts were running in an eternal circle in my mind. Who were these people? And why were they behind me? Wiped off my brain? Memories of their world? Which world did he come from? Unable to comprehend a single thing, I started to focus on something, trying to concentrate,not blinking. I didn't blink for such a long time that my eyes burned and watered. A soothing breeze blew and I breathed out heavily and blinked like I wouldn't get a chance to do so ever again.
"Hey, are you fine?"
I looked at her with a start.
"Uh.. Y..yes thank you."
I stared at her long beautiful locks. Her charming, kind eyes were out of the earth. They were hazel-brown, which complimented her hair perfectly. She had smooth, clear skin and a sweet smile on her face. To complete this, she had a voice as sweet as honey. She was definitely an angel.
"Good to know, because you look pretty shook up!" She said.
"Pretty people like you shake me up quite well!" I regretted saying that the second I had finished. She raised her perfect eyebrows at me and gave me the look. "Uh.. I..I'm sorry.. Bad line.." I apologised. Bracing myself for a slap from this beauty, I looked up at her.
"Hahahaha!! Guys never stop do they?"
Mustering up the courage, I asked-"So...what's the name??"
She smiled. "Why should I tell you?"
"Why not?" I winked.
"Because, you don't need to know." she said, the sweet smile not willing to leave her pretty face. My eyes went down to her jean bag which was covered with badges and stickers and letters and keychains of all sorts. I saw a big letter that had a crown over it. L.
"L?'" I said. Her brown eyes looked into mine, as if they were looking into my soul. "L." she said. And walked away.
"Hey ! Wait! tell me your name!"
"How about phone number?"
"Or a coffee?"
And all I got was a smile in return.
