Although he's known to be Doctor Vanta, he doesn't seem to be acting like one. He invents for profit and that's what matters to him. But he wasn't expecting for you to matter to him too. When he heard that news about you getting sick, he wasted no time to leave his Corporation, just to take care of you himself. He may not look like he's got experience on medical care but he is a genius so he'd know what to do.
He may not show it but he's worried about you. Worried enough for him to stop working just to take care of you. And he's determined to get you cured quick. To him, you look strong. Confident in your abilities as a Loomian trainer that it seems like you're untouchable (at least in his perspective).
