Sunday Morning

"ELLAAAAA, ELLAAA WE ARE GONNA BE LATE!!" I could hear Lily screaming from downstairs. Shoot ... as always...I'm late. I almost fell off my bed. "5 MINUTES!!" I screamed back rushing towards the washroom. It was Sunday and my family was going to have lunch with few of my dad's colleagues. The place is quiet far from our house so we had to start as early as possible.

I slipped into my tight jeans and an off shoulder crop top. I was not much interested in jewelery so I kept it very simple. I loved make up but I like to keep it simple too.

I'm Ella and I'm 19, a fashion designing student at one of the prestigious universities in the states. My parents are doctors. I've a sister who's in high school. Lily had been my secret keeper, my best friend and my worst enemy. I love her so much.

I grabbed my designer bag from the closet and took my phone before heading out of my room. My dad was already in the car while Lily and mom were at the door steps looking for me.

"Here I come-"
"Come fast Ellaaa" I heard mom shouting.
"Yeah yeah"

We got in the car and me and Lily were scrolling through our phones while our parents were discussing their work. I've always found it weird that those two never spoke like doctors?!. It's like they hide something from us.

I knocked off the thoughts when I got a text from my best friend Rosen. She asked me if we had started. I told her yes and we chatted for sometime before she reminded me of Brandon.

Brandon had been our...um..friend ..I don't know...someone we knew .. since high school. He was kind of a bully or I must say.. an actual bully. Only last week we had a football match at the Uni and I for some reason had agreed to be the cheerleader alongside Rosen and the others. Brandon was on the team and as soon as the match got over he came to me and raised a ring towards me while kneeling down. He was such a show creator. I didn't know how to act and I just grabbed Rosen and we left there. And ever since then everyone thinks that me and Brandon are dating. I don't understand why or how people reached that conclusion.

We reached the place on time. There were a lot of people...surprisingly.. cause i thought it was gonna be just a few people from my parent's work and I was not getting a vibe I expected?! I don't know this place looked more of like a gangster's meet to me lol.

We got in to see a lot of people talking among themselves in every corner. And my eyes laid on a man. He was tall, had very masculine features and didn't look that old. Everyone around him seemed to be afraid of him and they were not standing too close to him.

And I just realised that he too had been looking at me. Our eyes met and it was kinda awkward that I just looked elsewhere. Lily was getting overhyped and I could tell that even she didn't expect this. Our parents were busy talking to a few other people whom I had never seen before. It's not like my parents took us anywhere , or atleast they never took me anywhere. They were too protective I felt. They were good parents but were too controlling.

"Oh Lorenzo, so that's your older daughter" a man from behind said. "Oh ha- yes- that's Ella" my dad replied , kind of looking scared?!. I wondered if everything was alright. I could see tension in my mom's face too and she was looking over to the same man I spotted earlier every now and then who had his eyes glued on me.

I saw him approaching over to us and I heard my dad say to my mom "Alice why don't we go over there-" pointing to the opposite direction from the man. But he had gotten to us already. My dad gave him a forced smile. "Oh Santino Luca, it's so good to see u . How have u-" "Cut it off Lorenzo" the man interrupted, still looking at me... to my soul to be exact. He was too intimidating. He had a very strong aura around him.

"Luca" He grabbed my hand for a handshake. "E-Ella" I responded thinking wtf was going on. "I know" he gave me a smile and a nod then looking towards my dad "I hope you have told her" He said still holding my hand. "Um.. no I've not Luca. I needed to tell you-" "SHUT UP DANTE LORENZO" Luca roared making my dad freeze. A few people were looking over to see what was going on.

"YOU- YOU FUCKING COME WITH ME" He screamed to me and pulling me away from my parents. He was so strong. One pull and I go flying a few meters. I was so shocked to see that neither my mom nor my dad were saying anything. Lily looked really scared. The man got me out of the place and had me forced into a Lamborghini. I tried to scream but his look was too scary that I eventually shut up. I couldn't think of anything at the moment. Wth was going on?! Who was this guy? Why is he taking me with him?
