The untold truth

I was shocked to see my mom and dad sitting there but I was relieved too. I was gonna run to them when I felt Luca's hand holding me back. He shot me a cold look. There was another couple too.

"Aaah my son" The man sat straight looking at Luca who still had no change in his expressions. I saw my mom getting teary seeing me and my dad looking relieved. The other woman looked worried.

"Come sit down you both" the man said. Luca released me from his grip and we both sat down. "So this is your princess, Lorenzo" the man looked up at me. My dad gave me a worried look. "It's Ella" I said firmly losing my temper but still holding onto it. It was unexpected cuz I saw everyone's eyes at me including Luca's.

"I see that my son has not informed you of anything miss. Right Luca?" Luca still was not looking at the man. He looked kinda pissed off. "Or would you like to say something Lorenzo?" The silence was awkward. "Okay since no one wants to say anything, I guess I'll tell you young lady" He said.

Everything he said after that felt non-real. He introduced himself as Santino Marcus. He said he'll start with his past?! Why was I made to listen to all this? I just wanted to go home! .....   He said that he built the world's biggest mafia. He had power, he had everything he wanted except the girl he loved. He said pointing .... to my mom?! I saw her face drop and she held her hand onto dad's.

"I loved your mom but as you can see she left me for your dad" he said . I could see anger flooding inside him. "Now, I have everything I want or I get what I want. I have no feelings for your mother no more. But I need you. I need you to marry my son." I looked over to Luca who didn't show any emotion. Not even anger. "This is your punishment Alice. You and Lorenzo will abide to my decision else I will gift you with the corpses of both your daughters" I could see a tear rolling from my mother's cheek.

"NO!" I shouted, suddenly standing up. Luca pulled my hand to make me sit but I moved away from him. "There's no way I'll let my life decided by another. Your business was with my parents. I WILL NOT marry anyone you say" I couldn't hold on to myself anymore. Luca stood up beside me , making me shiver cuz of his gaze. Anger showing in his face. "Sit!" He said. I saw a smile forming on his dad's face. I didn't obey . "Sit!!" He said again. I didn't want him to think that I was scared of him. So I didn't and next I felt his cold palm on my cheek. He pulled me by my hair and made me sit down.

"You see young lady. You don't mess with the Phoenix,  moreover not with my son" Marcus said laughing like a maniac.  My mom had started crying now. My dad looked over to me worried. I saw him drop his face when our eyes met. The dinner was silent. I could see Marcus grinning throughout and Luca was still emitting flames of anger.

Dinner was silent. It was 8pm and we left. I didn't get to say much to my parents, but I told them I'll be okay.

Drive to Luca's mansion felt long. I found myself slowly falling asleep. Well I didn't want to stay awake either.

Luca's POV :

I saw her slowly falling asleep. Her head was finding a place to rest. Not long enough I found her resting her head on my shoulder.  I didn't want to be rude to her. It's not like I know her or I hold anything against her. But I can't go against my dad's will. I am a bad man. I had done many bad things. But I never wanted to break a girl's heart, maybe cuz I never believed in love in the first place.

She looked peaceful sleeping.
We reached the mansion and I didn't feel like waking her up. I took her in my arms and took her upstairs. I left her room only to find Marco standing near the door with an open mouth.

"What in the world did I just witness?" He said cupping his face. "Is the cold hearted man feeling all soft for a girl?!" "No!" I replied before leaving to my room.

I feel bad for slapping her infront of her parents.
