Marco drove us to the place set for wedding. None of us talked during our way there. Luca would try to take a glance at me now and then but eventually would look back to the window. I feel tensed especially knowing that I won't be able to control my anger if Marcus say something about me or my parents. Maybe I looked a lot tensed that Luca held my hand.

He didn't look at me. His face showed no emotion. It looked scary. Luca has a fiery look most of the time.
We reached the place. It was majestic with a very big crowd. I could see cameras flashing as we reach. Everyone waiting for our arrival. Bodyguards everywhere with guns. "You're going to be okay" Luca said looking at me , before getting off the car. He held the door for me to get out. I got out to a bunch a camera flashes. It started to hurt my eyes.
Everything looked so majestic and rich. It was evident that all these people were in alliance with the Phoenix and the gang had such a strong hold over the economy. Politicians, actors, billionaires and many more were invited. Marcus and Diana were having conversations with the guests. Within no time even Luca was found busy talking to the people. I was left alone looking all dumb and that's when I spotted.... My family ...
Lily came running to me. She hugged me so tight. I could say that she had started to cry which made me want to cry too but then I remembered the expensive makeup I was wearing soooo. "Ella u look fcking gorgeous" lily said hugging me tight. I saw my mom and dad come to me. My mom had tears in her eyes and Dad's eyes were apologising to me each time I look at them . I assure them I'm fine and that they don't have to worry. I tell them that Luca is a nice guy.
Soon enough I found myself with Marcus and Diana. "You look so beautiful my baby" Diana said keeping her hand on her chest. "Thank you" I replied with an awkward smile. I know Diana is a nice woman unlike Marcus but I'm still not used to them as family.
Marcus went on to get everyone's attention "Ladies and gentlemen, I thank you all for joining me and my family on this auspicious occasion. My son Luca and his new wife Ella are starting their life." He continued boasting about his gang and the fatherhood with his child and much more. Luca would look at me every now and then and when I try to lock our eyes he would look elsewhere.
We had dinner. There were a few programmes and the guests had started to leave. I was with my family when Marcus came over. Luca and Diana followed him. Luca didn't give me and eye contact and he was looking at the ground. I was convinced that they had some conversation.
"Mr and Mrs. Lorenzo" Marcus addressed my mom and dad staring into my soul. "See your daughter for one last time will u?"
