Prologue

A/N I am going to be mentioning something that actually happened in real life during the 2nd world war

July 31st 1980 was when Harry and Samuel and Melody Potter were born it was three weeks later when Samuel and Melody weren't showing any signs of magic and so after listening to Dumbledore they gave Samuel and Melody to him who went back in time 59 years to February 10th 1921 and placed them on the door step of 24 and 28 year old Margaretta and Harold Gillespie who adopted them naming them Sam and Margret Gillespie they grew up alongside the Penny family, Sam and Ruth and Margret were selected for the S.O.E, trained in the art of espionage, assassination and infiltration, Ruth was sent to France and Germany and Margret to Poland and France, eventually Sam joined the war as a second lieutenant, he doesn't like talking about his time in the war as it brings up memories that he doesn't like. Sam and Ruth have a mutual attraction anyone can see that, the way they react when the other is mentioned it is as if they are worried something is wrong and Margret tries her best to get them to admit their love for one another easier said than done, Margret works with Ruth at the Albion Bugle and often appears alongside her or her brother, both siblings know they are not Gillespie's by birth as no Gillespie has ever had the striking red hair of Margret or the brownish hair of Sam, they know that they were left on Margaretta and Harold's doorstep and that they adopted them, Sam and Margret love their parents because they treated Sam and Margret as their own and everyone in Great Slaughter was amazed at the kindness of the couple not because they are not kind but because not many people would ever do something like they did, Margaretta is German and a devout Catholic and is often seen at church gatherings, Harold is of American and Canadian decent.

1965

Sam Gillespie and Ruth Penny had just come back from an undercover mission "Back to civilisation" said Sam "I'll drink to that" replied Ruth "It wasn't all bad" said Sam and Ruth nodded in agreement "We could do it again, just not undercover one day maybe" said Ruth awkwardly, "We could" "Um so my aunt called me Auntie Bridgett McCarthy, so I am going to be in Kembleford for a little while and..." Ruth got cut off when a man with greasy black hair and a black robe came to the table with Mrs. Clam, Felix Livingston, Peggy Button, Sister Boniface and Margret Gillespie "Mar, what is happening?" asked Sam, the red head just shrugged "my name is Severus Snape, I am so you and you're sister can meet you're biological parents" Severus Snape drawled bored "Ok" said Sam uncertainty while looking at Ruth.

1995

 Next thing the sixties people landed in a medieval hall "Where are we?" asked Ruth in awe "welcome to Hogwarts, Severus wat is the meaning of this?" asked an old man "Dumbledore I believe the children the Potter's gave up have a right to meet the people who gave them up" drawled Snape as the Potter's filled with anger how dare he think he has a right to meddle in their lives "Severus we gave them up for a reason" snapped Lily as Sam and Margret looked at each other confused as to what was going on "what year is it?" asked Margret "1995" snapped Harry rudely "wow we would 74" said Margret to her brother who nodded as Ruth looked around with the others staying silent watching everything unfold, "Sit down all will be explained" the 60s people sat down "so you Margret and Sam are actually Melody and Samuel Potter born in 1980..." "sorry 1980? that is 59 years after Sam and Mar were born" interrupted Ruth, Severus scowled "if I could finish?" he asked and Ruth nodded "Dumbledore the old man over there has something called a time stone which can go back years and years and he placed the twins with the Gillespie family when they 3 weeks old after not showing signs of magic" Ruth almost fainted with shock "so in actuality Sam and Mar are only supposed to be 15?" asked Sister Boniface "yes but because of what the Potter's and Dumbledore did they are 44" said Snape "well if you don't mind and the twins don't mind I am keeping them" stated Ruth, with Margret and Sam nodded "we're staying in the 60s thank you" stated Margret very clearly "thank you" said Ruth, everyone else was filled with anger towards the Potter's and Dumbledore [the whole wizarding world] and Severus [the Potter's and Dumbledore] "shall we start?" asked Snape everyone nodded and a screen appeared with the first scene.
