Chapter 20: Talk

SANA'S POV

"So you're saying that this Eonjin, who is Taehyung's younger sister, is a friend with an insider and warned you about a new issue they'll be making regarding artists who date?"

I clapped my hands as Jihyo understood what I was trying to say. "Yes!" I continued clapping. "How lucky we are to have you as our leader." I grinned and they all snorted. Some sighed in dissatisfaction which I'm confused about why.

"That's it?"

"My goodness, Sana! You could have told us that directly. You didn't have to share everything that has happened between you, Taehyung, and that Sena!"

My lips protruded. "I didn't know where to start."

"I was right. Sana's the dumbest among us now." Momo looked proud.

"But what do you mean, that's it Nayeon unnie? Isn't that what we're afraid of?" I eyed her and she just shrugged.

"Well, maybe... the couple that would be revealed wouldn't be our relationships." She smirked menacingly. "I know more than what the insiders know. I could give them a long list of artists and couples dating here. And I'd shove it to their mouths. Let's see if they won't be surprised or bored." She rolled her eyes, obviously done with the damn issue-making newscasts.

"Making money out of our names, so cheap." Jeongyeon unnie seconded.

"And I don't care less. Whatever they want to reveal, they're just making fun of themselves, following and stalking us like poor puppies." Nayeon unnie added and laughed.

"It gets scary but if you say it like that, I pity them." Dahyun shook her head and chuckled lifelessly.

"Still, guys. This isn't a joke. This is serious. We have this info and the only thing we can do is ask help from the boss." Jihyo folded her arms and gave us her 'leader' look.

Nayeon and Jeongyeon unnie sighed.

"When can dating be normalized here in South Korea?" Nayeon unnie breathed out and pouted.

"The question is why is it so bad to date as artists in the first place?" Chaeyoung sat on the couch and opened her phone.

"Because of sasaengs?" Tzuyu concluded and turned on the tv in the room we're in.

"Our reputation?" Dahyun sat beside Chaeyoung.

"Because of hate," I said slowly.

"Ahh, yes. Hate. It's evident in this world." Jeongyeon unnie started eating with Momo while their eyes darted to the TV waiting for BTS to perform.

"And it's inevitable..." All our eyes went to Nayeon unnie who, hands on her waist, stood up in front, covering our view of the television. "We're over that. We've already received too much of that. Aren't you guys used to it already?"

"Yeah, we are but it stings. Their words would make you think over and over again, it'd make you sleepless. It's scary." Chaeyoung answered while staring at nothing.

"Yes, but we got over it... Together. It just pushed us to work harder and now we're here. Stronger. Plus with new persons that give us more strength, not just our fans, our family, but them."

And as if on cue, BTS' performance started.

"...your comfort, your new life. And I know that all of us before we engaged to these types of things, we were ready. Were you afraid when you started dating Taehyung, Sana?"

"No." I directly answered. "At first..." I whispered.

Nayeon unnie grinned at me and faced Tzuyu. "How about you, our maknae? You were the first ones to date. Were you afraid?"
