-Dream mode-
Once both Bill and Ted fell into a deep sleep, their eyes shot open in a dark room. Their back were laying in the cold concrete floor, which questions them why were they on the floor. Another question is where are Bill and Ted. They have been separated in a different place. Bill was inside of a house and Ted was outside, close to the woods. They both yelled for each other's names, but no answer from neither Bill or Ted. Bill began to check out the house while Ted went into the woods. Bill started to walk around the house, entering the living room. He noticed photos on the shelf and paintings hung on the wall. He investigated the paintings to his surprise that it was his when he was in the 2nd grade. 'Is this my old house?' he thought to himself as he looked at the photos from the shelf. He grabs the photo frame and looks at it, noticing a family of a father, a mother and a child at the age of 7. The child has the sane blonde curly hair like Bill, except the hair was short at that time and his clothing was different. He wore a button plaid shirt with a tie and blue jeans with Converse sneakers. He noticed his dad looks young in the photo without his beard and didn't look bald. He looks at the mom but realized it wasn't Missy. He wondered, 'Is that-mom?' He inspected the mother closer but could not tell if it was his actual mom. He doesn't remember his mom after 7. He only remember her leaving all happy and never came back for the past 10 years. Once he placed the photo back on the shelf, he heard a voice coming from upstairs. He walks out of the living room, slowly heading up the stairs and enter the hallway. He looked to his left and right side, trying to figure out where the voice came from. The voice sounded closer to his left so he went to the left side. Once he got closer to the sound, it stopped which made him stop walking. He saw a door slightly open, sending chills running down through his spine. He slowly opens the door and enters. Once he enters, he saw a woman standing on the window, giving the sun a beautiful reflection on her. The woman's appearance was her hair is brown and long, her body is slim and her face was light tan with her eyes of blue like Bill. Her clothing is a long, flowy white dress. Bill took a step closer inside. The woman turned to Bill with a smile of happiness. "My little Bill," she spoke softly. "M-M-Mom?" he asked, tears began to form in his eyes. She opened up her arms to Bill. Bill's eyes widen as he ran up to her and hugged her. He began to bawl and cries on her chest. "Mom," he said. "Shh. Its ok Bill," she spoke as she hugs him, petting his head softly. "I'm here Bill. I'm here." Hearing her voice made Bill cry harder than before. He never hugged his mom for so long. The only time he would hug someone like this was the time he got bullied throughout Middle School and High School and that someone is his dad. He couldn't let go of his mother to see her face. He wanted to see his mom so bad. This is his chance. His mom lets go of her son to see his face. She places her hand under his chin to lift up his head and looks into his eyes. Once Bill looks into his mom's eyes, he cries even more than before. She wipes the tears away with her thumb and spoke, "Bill. Why are you crying? Aren't you happy?" Hearing the word 'Happy' from his mom made him not happy at all. He shook his head. "Why should I be happy mom? I haven't seen you for 10 years." He sniffled and wipes away his tears, trying to stop himself from crying.
On the other side, Ted stares what's in front of him. The woods. One of his biggest fear. Why? Once he was 8 years old, he heard many rumors about the woods being haunted by a madman who lurks in there, looking for a victim to drag into the darkness without escaping. That's why there are some reports about missing people in these woods. Ted wanted to get out but something caught his attention. He saw something lit in the distance. He decided to follow the strange light as he enters the woods slowly, step by step. His mind was focused with questions about the strange light. Once the light grew closer to Ted, a dark silhouette figure stood in front of the light. Ted stopped walking for a moment, feeling something strange in his guts once he saw the figure. He took a deep breath and starts walking until a voice said, "Ted?" He stopped again once he heard his name. He gulped nervously. "Wh-Wh-Wh-Who are you? H-H-H-How do you know my name?" The figure began to walk towards Ted, making him want to take a step back but couldn't move his feet. He looked around for a weapon to use to prepare himself for a fight, but all there was is just dirt and soil. He looks back at the figure until the figure showed itself to him. Ted was in shock. The figure was a lady. A woman. This woman has long, wavy dark chocolate hair. Her eyes are hazel like Ted's eyes. Her body is fit and normal with a slim curve. Her style shows a long, white dress with a flow. She placed her hand on Ted's cheek to investigate him. The way she stare into Ted's eyes made Ted feel calm and relaxed. He had the strangest feeling he has seen her before but doesn't remember where or when. "My Ted Theodore Logan. All grown up," the woman spoke softly as she gave a warm smile to him. Ted wanted to ask who she is but something hit him in the head, realizing who she is. He remembers her eyes. The only eyes that feels like it is made from homemade milk chocolate. He quickly hugs her and bursts into tears with a bawl. Ted's mom was in shock when he hugged her as she hugged him back. She swayed him softly in her arms as she began to sing a lullaby. "Hush little angel don't you cry away. Your tears have fallen like a water bay. Mommy will dry your tears. So do not fear." Hearing that lullaby made Ted cry even more. What happened to his mom? He doesn't know. All he knew is he misses her so much.
As Bill and Ted continued to hug their own mothers, a sudden darkness filled the air. Something dark has covered the light, letting Bill and Ted open their eyes to see the horror experience right in front of them. Both of their moms were dead. Bill's mom was shot in the chest with an open wound to see her heart cut open. Ted's mom was stabbed on the side and her neck was a quick slit through so clean. Bill and Ted took a step back from their own mothers and looks at their own hands to see blood covered in them. They were shaking with fear. How is this possible? Who killed their mothers? Why would someone do this? Both were filled with fear, depressed and rage mixed together. They tried to wake up from this nightmare until they saw their dead mothers with eyes shot black. They were coming for them with an evil grin. They tried to escape. They tried to move but something made them stay where they were as their dead mothers got closer and closer to their sons as they say, "Catch you later." Right before the mothers struck their sons, Bill and Ted woke up with a scream. Their eyes shot open and both began to breathe heavily. They don't know what happened. In fact, they don't know what happened to their mothers. Why were they dreaming about them? Is it a sign? Is it a message? What was it that made them dream about their own mothers? Bill and Ted sat up, feeling both relieved and horrified from this experience. Bill looks at Ted and asked, "you ok?" Ted looks at the door in front of him, not answering Bill's question. He was traumatized. He couldn't speak at all. All he could do is shake in fear. "...mom," Ted muttered softly. Bill gasped softly, knowing Ted dreamt about his own mother. They both dreamed about their moms and nightmares about their dead mothers. Bill slowly placed his hand on Ted's shoulder, feeling his body still shaking. Ted looked at Bill with his eyes, trying to stop shaking but couldn't. "I uh...still have that lava lamp you gave me 5 years ago for my birthday. I can turn it on as a nightlight if you like," Bill spoke softly. Ted's eyes looked down to the blankets as he answers, "sure..." Bill felt a bit relieved Ted finally answered. He reached to the side desk and turns on the small light switch from the cable connected on the wire as the lava lamp turned on to create a turquoise blue around the room. Ted looks at the lava lamp and smiles a bit. He really liked the lava lamp he gave Bill and was glad he still kept it. Bill and Ted laid back on the bed with a soft sigh. They looked up at the glowing ceiling and slowly began to close their eyes, hoping they wouldn't go back to that heinous nightmare. Once they fell into a deep sleep, they dreamed a different dream.
