I blew things out of proportion, now you're blue
Put you in jail for something you didn't do
I pinned your hands behind your back
Thought I had reason to attack, but no

"Hi," [F/N] greeted Jake as soon as she left her apartment.
Jake was mesmerized by what he saw. [F/N] wore a collared white crop top to match the pink skirt that Jake picked for her. She looks extra tall as well with her white platform Converse shoes.
"Hey pretty," Jake said as he smiled at her.
[F/N] only chuckled at his remarks and smiled at him. She's a bit shy right now and it seems like all her troubles have been swept away at the sight of a young man.
"You're not gonna fool me this time, are you?" She asked and Jake shrugged while keeping a grin on his face. He knew that teasing her was a fun way to ease the date.
"Here we go again with your rude greetings and the never-ending Jake Kim is an asshole agenda."
[F/N] laughed and minimized the gap between them. She was now only a foot away from him as she looked at him playfully and felt the enjoyment of teasing him.
"Well, what can I do? You were in jail," Jake rolled his eyes and only smirked.
"You got me there. Let's go," he said, walking towards the main road to catch a ride.
[F/N] followed him silently and she felt excited about the date. She doesn't know what to expect from someone like Jake Kim but she wanted to know more about him. She's not also aware of his plans for the date yet she likes to explore whatever he proposes.
As they reach the main road, they both wait for a taxi to pass. Jake looked at her and noticed that she wore the skirt that he picked yesterday. [F/N] noticed him staring at his skirt but she misinterpreted it. She glared at Jake who was unaware that he was already smirking.
"I didn't know that you're a pervert," [F/N] said and crossed her arms.
Jake raised his eyebrow and succumbs to a staring contest with her. "I was just looking at your skirt. I picked it."
[F/N] was not convinced by his excuse because it sounded lame to her. She now started overreacting and she could not just control her emotions well.
"I could tell that you're thinking that I am a liar," Jake responded before she could say anything.
He already felt like this date would not commence any sooner as they are bickering again over something that is just a misunderstanding.
"Look Jake, I am not judging you. I was just," she sighed and looks down at the ground. "I just feel bad when you did it. Maybe I was just overthinking or have made a wrong impression on you that I can't just get over with."
Jake did not utter a word and only looked at the sunset ahead of them. Its colors consist of bright orange and red hues that cover the whole sky. It was a solemn afternoon yet he can feel his heart screaming over the situation.
"I'm sorry. I ruined this date before it even started. I think I should just go."
[F/N] felt hopeless about the situation and turned her back away from Jake. She's now walking back with shoulders drooping and a heavy heart. The memories of humiliation that she got yesterday came flooding onto her like a surge of storms that knocks her.
Jake pauses for a moment and watched her as she walks away. He now felt guilty for acting hostile toward her when he should've been gentle about it because she has the right to feel offended by his actions.
