Y/n: Teddy called us into the studio to introduce us to someone he wanted us to collaborate with on a song.

Daisy Jones (Singer, Daisy Jones & The Six): Y/n was pretty fucking cool. Karen, too. But something about Y/n. I think it was her goofy personality and how she was never one to take things seriously. Well, unless it called for it of course.

Billy: I didn't want a collaboration.

Eddie: Billy's head was so far up his ass. He didn't like to think someone would take the spotlight from him.

"Everyone, this is Daisy Jones. She'll be collaborating on Honeycomb." Teddy said, as he gestured towards the gorgeous redhead who wore only a men's button down shirt and cowboy boots. You loved this chick already.

You got up and shook hands with her, "Y/n L/n. Rhythm guitarist."

She smiled back at you, "Daisy Jones. Love your hair."

"Thanks. Oh! And this is my best friend and keyboardist Karen Sirko but we call her Karen Karen. It's an inside joke. And my boyfriend and drummer, Warren Rojas."

Daisy smiled and felt really welcomed by your presence and the three of you in general. Eddie and Graham didn't really say anything, they just sat in the back of the room with their instruments.

Billy, however, looked less than happy. You could feel the tension between him and Daisy. It was awkward silence for a moment before Daisy and Billy made their way to the recording booth.

Daisy had a little red notebook she pulled out of her purse. Billy was honestly moaning and groaning about how this isn't a duet and blah blah blah.

"This is Honeycomb, take one." Teddy said before they started recording.

Daisy was singing something far from the original song, but it honestly sounded better than Billy's version.

"Hold on. Those aren't the lyrics." Billy interrupted. Daisy took off her headphones and said, "Yes they are." And handed him her notebook.

He looked it over, and said, "What the fuck is this?" He stormed out of the booth and to Teddy. Him and Teddy argued for a bout five minutes and then Daisy interrupted, "Are we going to record something or fight more because I'm fine either way."

You laughed and so did Warren. Karen cracked a smile. "Is she always like this?" She asked Teddy.

"Yes." Was all he answered. He clearly knew Daisy way longer than you all thought. They recorded, finally after they kept interrupting and bickering to one another.

Once the recording was done, the rest of you guys went and recorded with your instruments again. This time with a couple changes that Daisy made to the song.

Y/n: The final product was beautiful. God, honestly I could listen to that song all day. Call me narcissistic because it's my own band but, I couldn't get enough of it.

Karen: Honeycomb, which was then renamed to Look At Us Now became a number one hit. We couldn't believe it.

Billy: Now that I think about it, we never did use my version. [laughs]

You all hung outside the studio when some teen girls drove by, and you heard Look At Us Now from the radio. You quickly stopped the girls, Graham running in toe.

"What radio station is that?" Graham asked. The girl responded.

"Thank you!" You exclaimed running to the band.

"Guys! Did you hear that? Our song on the radio!" You exclaimed.

"I did! Holy shit, Y/n. We're gonna make it!" Karen shouted excitedly and gave you a hug. Once the two of you separated, you kissed Warren. You didn't care about keeping your relationship a secret. You didn't give two shits what the media thought of you dating your band member.

"Shouldn't you keep this," Eddie said, gesturing with his hand towards you two, "on the down low?"

Warren wrapped an arm around your waist pulling you close and tightly, "Nah, man. We're good. Want the world to know this beautiful and talented woman belongs to me." You blushed at his words.

The bassist shrugged before lighting a cigarette. Karen was very supportive of your relationship, she was your best friend after all.
