As Nikki ran through the forest lost and confused, she scrambled to get away from the horrid beast that was chasing her. The longer she ran the more she stumbled and struggled to stay on her feet; she eventually tripped over an exposed tree root and fell and cracked her head open. The pain shot threw her like a rocket as she let out a pain-filled scream as the crimson blood poured down her pale face, impairing the vision on her right side of her, staining her hair that was matted with leaves and dirt. She turned around to see the creature towering over her as she started back at the shadowy figure. This beast must have been at least 10 feet tall with these paranormal white eyes staring down at her. Her deep green eyes looked up at the monstrosity as its long blood stained fingers and ragged black talons reached out for her. Nikki let out a scream and raised her hands
"MAGE LIGHT!"
She screamed as a bright light shot from her fingers in the the chest of the demon as is dissolved into nothing with an inhuman screech. After what seemed like hours, Nikki let out a sigh of relief and stood up brushing off the leaves that had stuck to her when she fell, her head pounding. She looked around:
"I thought Shadow Beast only existed in Hyrule..."
She mumbled to herself looking around,
"Wow, it's pretty dark..."
She whispered raising her hand above her head
"Candle light."
An orb of light appeared above her head and stayed there as she walked lighting her way as she swayed while she walked her head screaming in pain. Nikki's ears were leaning back in fear, pain, confusion, She had the slightest idea of where she was or if the spell even worked. As she walked deeper into the woods, she felt eyes digging into the back of her head as she walked; she felt like a fawn being stalked by a ravenous wolf. The elven girl looked around only to see a man in an orange hoodie holding a camera, recording her every movement, as if she was a rare creature, one never before seen. Nikki swallowed the lump in her throat;
"Wh-Who are you?"
her shy tone filled the empty air around her. The man stood about 6'1, his face and neck were covered by a black mask with the stereotypical red frowning face stitched on to it.
"Sh-Shouldn't I-I-I be asking you that!?"
His voice sounded corrupted, almost like a CD or a movie when is glitches out or skips, what ever was wrong with his voice sent Nikki aback sending a feeling of fear down her spine and to her feet, her ears leaning back even more than before, her tears of fear mixing with the blood that was still running down her face.
"I'm Nikki-Lee.."
Her voice was shaky and fear full
"Why are you-you in Ros-Rosswood?"
The girl mumbled, her face facing the ground, but she directed her eyes up at the stranger, Nikki couldn't talk at this point. Her crying was over the top, and her sobs sounded more like screams. The man's body untensed as he noticed that, the small female in front of him was no imp, nor threat just a small girl who was lost;
"Hey why are you crying?"
The computer automatic tone gone from his voice, this time it sounded softer and more human.
"I-I-I'm lost, I don't know where I am, or-or-or anything about this place...Where am I?"
The elf asked in a broken and raspy voice looking up for the man her eyes pleading for an answer,
"You're in Scaramento, in the forest by Rosswood park."
"Sac-ra-mento..."
Nikki whispered to herself saying the name of the city she was in, repeating the word feeling how it felt to say it so she would remember. After what seems like years of silence the nameless man broke the stiffened air;
"Look, I don't normally do this, but come with me.."
Nikki nodded grabbing the mans hood and following him, on a closer inspection she noticed it was stained in blood
"Who am I getting my self involved with?.."
