Chapter 4

Where exactly are you from?"
He questioned sitting on the couch looking at he elf awaiting her answer. Nikki still looking down holding on to the strap of her bag;
"I am from a kingdom.."
she paused waving her hands crating a picture of her home land in the empty air in front of her. Brian jumpped from the couch in surprisment as Faith's eyes widened looking at the magic produced illusion in front of her;
"I'm from here, this is the kingdom I grew up in. My mother is the queen and my father was king, they never full;y loved each other, well my mother loved my father very much dis..pite, dispite, every thing he had done in the past, you see. My father is an evil man, wanting nothing more than power, money, and the people of the kingdom to fear him."
Nikki paused the tears rolling down her blood stained dingy face, the illusion in front of them bagna changing in to a dark demonic place horrid beast flying in the ir around the moutians, the bright day light that made the land look so warm and peacful began to turn in to a dark orange color one could only discribe as the light of twilight a purple fog surronding the ground;
"After a few years of pretendiong to love my mother and having me my father locked my mother away in the dungon of the castle, and stopped paying attention to me, I was alone. I wasn't allowed to leave the catle, So I spent most of my time in the study reading the vast amonut of books, I am pretty sure I read every book in that study at least twice."
Nikki paused once again attempting to wipe the tears away as she cleared her throat;
"After four years of the entire kingdom living in darkness the hero in green came and ended all the darkness and suffering the peace was restored and my mother was freed. The peace was restored to the kingdom."
As Nikki finished her story she looked at the illusion before her as it stood there in the darkness it is trapped as she was speaking.
"If peace was returned than why are you here?"
