"I don't want to waste my summer at some camp." You were wakened from your slumber by the voice of none other than Shane Gray. You opened your eyes and lifted your head off of Nate's shoulder, where you had fallen asleep and looked at Shane. Oh yes today was the day y'all were dropping Shane off at camp. That boy has been getting on your nerves so much lately and hopefully going back to the camp where y'all made so many memories at will fix his attitude.
"I'm Shane Gray, for crying out loud." You looked at Shane in disbelief and nuzzled your head back onto Nate's shoulder, not wanting to deal with Shane but still keeping your eyes open.
"Hey, man, we used to love this place. Three years ago we were campers, and we met Danny." Nate reasoned with his brother.
"Yeah, man, this is where Connect 3 connected." Jason said looking up in awe. You rolled your eyes at his comment, as did Nate.
"And you get to see your Uncle Brown." Nate reasoned. But Shane scoffed at that while rolling his eyes.
"Not a selling point." Shane said, earning a kick in the leg from you.
"Ow!" He said, looking at you shocked.
"Don't talk about Brown that way" You glared at Shane, while lifting your head off of Nate's shoulder, now fully awake.
"Look, man, right now you're the bad guy to the press. And the label has a problem with that. Which means we have a problem with that." Nate pointed to you, Jason, and himself.
"Actually, I don't have a problem with that." Jason said. You and Nate looked at him with an 'are you serious right now?' Look.
"We have a problem with that." Jason corrected, pointing at Shane.
"This camp thing is supposed to fix it. It's good P.R., so do your time. Enjoy the fresh air. Get a tan." Nate said with a smirk, earning a giggled out of you from his comment.
"Oh, and can you make me a birdhouse or something?" Jason asked totally off topic. You snickered while Nate rolled his head back against the seat, closing his eyes with a sigh.
"One word, payback." Shane said as he started to get his things together.
"That's 2 words." Jason said, as if it was obvious. Shane rolled his eyes, grabbed his stuff and got out of the car.
"By the way, we told the press you'd be recording a duet with the winner of Final Jam." Nate said quickly as he scooted over in front of the window. You scooted over shortly after.
"What?!"
"And don't forget Jason's birdhouse!" You yelled and waved as the limo drove off leaving a dumbfounded Shane.
.................................................................................................................................

You, Nate, and Jason were hanging out by the pool. You were sitting by the side of the pool in your one piece bathing suit and shorts, dangling your feet in the water. Nate pulled out his phone, calling Shane and put it on speaker, setting it on the table.
"Hey, buddy, how's my birdhouse coming?" Jason asked Shane through the phone.
"Jason!" Nate warned while you just chuckled.
"Sorry. It's not my fault you didn't ask him to make you anything." Jason said to Nate while playing his game. You decided to get up and join the boys. You walked up behind Nate and started playing with his hair. What? Y'all aren't a couple but he is the only one of the boys that will let you do it with now problem. Shane would probably chop your hand off if you touched his hair and Jason's wasn't nearly as soft as Nate's.
"I didn't want anything." Nate argued with his brother. Letting you play with his hair.
"Well, I wanted a birdhouse! So what?" Jason fought back.
"And what do you need a birdhouse for?"
"Because I wanted to see more birds in-" You chuckled, cutting the boys off.
"Boys, boys" You said with a chuckle while gaining their attention.
"Sorry" they both said.
"Listen. About me recording with a camper." Shane started, through the phone.
"You gotta do it, man. No go-backs." Nate said.
"Yeah. No go-backs. It's like the golden rule." Jason agreed.
"No, dude, the Golden Rule is "Tell the truth." Nate argued.
"Dude, then it can be, like, the Silver Rule."
"Why is it the Silver Rule?"
"Okay, fine, the Copper Rule."
"The Copper Rule?"
"Well, give me tin at least."
"Boys" You said with a smile and bopped them both on the head.
"Sorry" They said in unison.
"Listen. I've been thinking about the whole recording thing, and I think it's really cool." Shane said. The three of you were dumbfounded over the sudden change of heart from Shane.
"Are you getting too much sun?" Nate asked.
"Cause we can bring you one of Danny's hat when we come to visit." Jason suggested. This only made you smile while trying to stifle a laugh.
"I'm fine." Shane reassures. "And remember, whoever wins, no go-backs. See you guys Saturday." Shane said hanging up the phone. The three of you looked back at each other and shrugged.
"Okay, we'll I don't know about y'all but I'm getting in the pool!" You said as you made your way down to the pool.
