Eyes from her Past

"Can we buy some ice cream later, please?" asked Selene giving Aleah the 'puppy eyes' and made Aleah chuckled.

"Sure love, let's go." she said, cupping her pink cheek.

Aleah held out his hand for Selene to hold and they went on their way to a nearby shop to buy some groceries.

After 5 long years, Aleah is now working as a teacher in the muggle world. She, Selene and her father Sirius is living happily.

They stopped by the coffee shop that has the best ice cream in town, Selene is so excited to eat her favorite ice cream.

They ordered and sat on a vacant table when suddenly Aleah saw Albus Dumbledore himself walking over to her.

"Hello Aleah!" said Albus, offering his hand to her.

"Headmaster!" Aleah instantly stood up and shook Albus's hand.

"How've you been Aleah?" asked Albus and took a seat beside her.

"I'm doing good Headmaster, I'm currently teaching at a muggle school" said Aleah beaming with smiles, he missed seeing people from Hogwarts.

Aleah and Albus talked and Aleah didn't notice Selene walked off and went to the staff to ask for more toppings on her ice cream.

"You know, too much sweets are bad for you child" someone said behind Selene.

Selene looked at the man and noticed that he was wearing an all black outfit.

"Uhmm," said Selene, shy and a little embarrassed.

The staff handed her her ice cream but she knows she can't hold it in her own little hands, so she turned to the man and said,

"Can you help me bring my ice cream to our table Mister? My mom is busy talking to someone. Please?"

The man let out a tired and annoyed sigh, but didn't let the girl see it and grabbed her ice cream.

"Come on, there's our table." said Selene pointing at their table excitedly.

Selene surprisingly held the man's hand and guided him to their table. The man was about to protest but he let her instead, feeling a bit okay with it.

The man looked at the table Selene is pointing, and when they got nearer to them he stopped, Selene looked at him confused.

"Mister, our table is right here. Can you put my ice cream on the table now?" Selene said smiling at the man.

"Mummy, this man helped me with my ice cream." Selene said loudly for her Aleah to hear.

Aleah turned to Selene, and was shocked seeing the man Selene is referring to. Aleah immediately stood up and wished to herself that everything is not real.

Aleah, mouth slightly agape saw none other than, Severus Snape. The man she's not ready to meet especially with Selene.

Severus looked at her and Selene, shocked to hear that the little girl called her mummy.

"Who is this sweet little girl?" Albus said, breaking the silence between them. And Severus put the ice cream to their table and stood by Albus, eyes still locked on Aleah.

Aleah can't speak, she wants to go home and hide Selene quickly but it's too late and she can't move.

"I'm Selene Aria Black sir." said Selene, sitting down at their table and smiling at Albus. She then turned her attention to her ice cream not minding her surrounding.

Albus gently tapped Selene's head and Selene smiled at him.

Severus looked at the child and felt something warm inside him.

"H-headmaster, this is S-Selene. She's—" Aleah said still looking at Severus. She feels something inside her unfolding. Is she still in love with this man?

'He left you, remember?' Aleah said to herself.

"She's my daughter." Aleah added.

Albus and Severus instantly looked at her.

"What a sweet girl." said Albus, turned to look at Selene again and smiled at her.

"How old is she?" asked Severus, making Aleah slightly jumped from hearing his voice again. Aleah don't want to answer him but suddenly,

"I'm 4 Mister!" said Selene, smiling at Severus.

Severus looked at Selene and smiled.

Severus looked at Aleah with disappointment and anger in his eyes. Aleah furrowed her brows when she saw it and turned to Selene.

"Selene, this is Headmaster Albus Dumbledore." Aleah said to Selene.

"Hello Headmaster, I'm Selene." Selene said to Albus.

"And you Mister? What's your name?" added Selene, looking at Severus.

"My name is Severus Snape." he answered and gave Selene a smile.

"Thank you for helping me with my ice cream, this is my favorite." Selene said, beaming at Severus.

"Glad I could help." said Severus, feeling a warmth inside him whenever Selene smile at him.

Severus looked at Aleah again and examined her. She's gotten more beautiful now, he looked at her lips and gulped, thinking how much he missed those plump pink lips and roamed his eyes further down to her neck and got a bit sad.

Aleah looked at him puzzled,

'Why is he looking at my neck now?' Aleah said to herself.

Albus instantly stood up, and looked at Severus.

"Aleah, please think about it. I would really be glad to have you." said Albus, smiling at Aleah. Severus looked at Albus, puzzled to what Albus is talking about and looked at Aleah to hear her reply.

"I will think about it and make sure to give you my answer as soon as possible Headmaster" said Aleah, smiling and shook hands with Albus.

"Goodbye Selene! Till we meet again." said Albus, giving Selene a pat on her head.

"Goodbye Headmaster and Goodbye Mister Snape!" said Selene, smiling and waving at them.

"See you again Selene." said Severus, smiling at her.

Severus looked at Aleah again and gave her a slight nod. And with that, Albus and Severus went on their way.

Aleah looked at Selene, her sweet child. A cute little girl, with a straight black raven hair and eyes as dark as someone from Aleah's past, Severus'.
