chapter I ep 1: the forgotten conversation

As the sun starts to set in mondstadt, a tall man with long blue hair and light blue eyes enters the tavern. "Hello diluc~" he said,

while greeting the man in front of him"Get out kaeya" the man replied. The man has long red hair with bright feiry eyes.

"If your only looking for trouble, i suggest you to leave my tavern" diluc added.

"Dont worry im not here for trouble, im actually here for a drink" kaeya replied to calm diluc down. "May i remind you what happened last week, you were so drunk that you forgot to pay the bill!" Diluc sed with anger. As the both of them kept talking

a bard that had aqua green eyes with dark blue hair that borders on black with a frilly white top and a corset-like leather midsection, along with teal shorts with gold embroidery, a matching teal cape held together by a deep blue and gold bow.

"Wow, i didn't expect to see the cavarly captain today, must be my lucky day hehehe~" the bard sed.

"Oh great another one" diluc sed with sarcasm "come on master diluc don't be so grumpy" venti replied "i am not grumpy. " Diluc cleared out the fact.

"Don't worry diluc ill pay you this time" kaeya said "you better be" diluc replied with doubt.

"Oh and venti, it's my treat" kaeya said while looking at the bard "look's like our Cavalry captain is in a good mood today, but are you sure about that?" Venti replied "its ok, and im on my break today so call me by my name" he said "well then thank you kaeya" venti replied with excitement.

"Are the two of you done now?" Diluc said breaking the conversation between the two "yup!" The bard replied

Diluc kept glaring at both of them, but he gave in knowing they won't leave his tavern without drinking, diluc signed "take a seat."

"ok, oh and diluc can i have my usual please" kaeya replied "same goes for me! " venti added.

Dilif nodded and let kaeya and venti seat down. After a while they were served with there drinks.

"So venti how have you been doing lately?" Kaeya asked.

"Oh me? I've been doing quite fine, just doing the usual" venti said with confidence.

They both talked and talked about various topics, and got drunk.

After they finished diluc walked up to them "now pay up. I don't have all night. " He said.

Kaeya then handed him the mora, as he was paying diluc, venti stood up and walked up to an open space in the tavern and started to play the lyre as he sang.

After his performance, he then left with his favorite whine and of course kaeya had to pay for it first before leaving the tavern.

As kaeya walked through the dark nights in mondstadt he keeps on seeing a shadow of someone following him he didn't mind it because he thought it was just his mind playing tricks with him, as he turns around out of curiosity he saw a man with red hair and covered with black from head to toe.

His vision was quite blurry so he doesn't see much of who was the man. The man held a sword over a person laying on the ground.

(This was before he even made the theory or suspicious of diluc being the dark night hero or whatever his name is i forgot)

"Who are you? " he asked, the man slowly turned to him, and walked in his direction and said "look at you, you can't even protect yourself when you're drunk yet you still drink at my tavern."
