chapter V ep 5: on to adventure

As the sun starts to rise, and light lapses the city of freedom.

"Kya~... What a nice breeze to wake up upon!" Venti said while stretching his arms over his head, he seems to be in the sky...? As we see more of the sight venti was on top of dvalin while flying back to mondstadt.

Where did both of them go last night? A question that will be answered later in the end.

"*inhale* hah... *exhale* What a nice breeze! The cold breeze makes me so happy! It's so relaxing!" Venti yawned.

While venti was flying on top of dvalin he noticed people in front of the gates of mondstadt, it was diluc with kaeya, albedo and jean.

"Eh? It's so early in the morning and they're already awake?" Venti questioned himself "wait if they're awake this early... When did they wake up to get ready?".
As dvalin lands he made sure that he was quiet so no one could hear him land, for his size he was quite good in hiding, he landed in the middle of the forest.

Venti runned to the gates of mondstadt, "good morning!" He yelled.

"Where have you been?! Or should i say where did you go?" Diluc yelled with frustration, he seemed to be a lot more his normal self.

"Diluc no need to yell" kaeya is back at it again with his teasing tone.

"Calvary capta-" albedo was interrupted by diluc's short temper.

"I clearly wasn't talking to you." Diluc pierced his point.

"Diluc don't be so hit tempered all the time" kaeya replied with his teasing tone... Of course it got to dilic's last nerve.

Diluc and Kaeya continue to argue while Jean sighs as she puts one of her hands on her head, and shakes it slowly, while albedo and venti are actually talking to each other with no problem.

Jean then raised her haed and took a second look at the two...

"!..." Her eyes grew wide as she saw it... It was just like when they were kids... When they were still... Still clueless about what's going to happen...

Jean just froze there in silence while diluc tried to stay calm while Prooving his point, and kaeya was tryingo tease him more.

For jean it was a wonderful sight to see... She remembered when they used to fight every time back then... This-this sight is something she missed,

But she knew that those days will never go back, and will never be the same as before.

Oh how she missed thise days... As much as she wants to be stuck at this moment she has to stop them for the mission.

Before she split them she let out a giggle and said "alright you two stop, are you here to fight or finish the mission?", both men were in silence, diluc clears his throat *ahem*.

"Anyways you four shall go to liyue to meet one of its adempti's, liyue is known for its contracts, so we might find a clue about the sudden attack there, if you must go to another destination you all must do so, got it?" The acting grandmaster jean explained.

"Mhm" albedo agreed, but he asked "but ma'am are you sure to let a civilian go with us on this dangerous mission? No offence venti" "not taken".

"Venti does look like he can't fight but you'll need him on the trip, and plus i have my trust worthy knigths protecting him so don't worry". The others nodded in greement and started their mission.

V-"So when did you guys woke up?"
A-"around 3:00 am probably"
D-"i didn't sleep"
K-"4:00 am"
V-"wow you all wake up early"
A-"how about you venti? When did you wake up?"
V-"oh me? About an hour ago"
K-"fascinating... No wonder you have so much energy"
A-"but how'd you get ready so fast?"
V-"thats a secret between me and a friend"
D-"a friend? Who would be friends with you?"
K-"now, now diluc don't be mean"
V-"you know master diluc you should've had slept, if you did you weren't going to be this grumpy"
D-"tch"
