As Entrados and Illyanna prepared to leave, Antrodos and Agnes, their bodies ravaged by the battle, refused to let their daughter and sister be taken without a fight. Ignoring their pain, they summoned the last of their strength and staggered towards Illyanna, their voices hoarse with desperation.
"Illyanna, please! Don't leave us! We can face this together!" Agnes cried out, tears streaming down her face as she reached for her sister with trembling hands.
Antrodos, his visage etched with sorrow, bellowed her name, his voice cracking with emotion. "Illyanna! You are our family! We will never give up on you, even if it costs us everything!"
Max, his body barely able to move, clawed at the ground, his vision clouded by blood and tears. He struggled to call out her name, but only managed to cough up blood as despair choked his voice. "Illy...anna... please... stay..."
Illyanna, her eyes brimming with unshed tears, turned to face her family one final time. Her voice wavered as she spoke, her words laden with the burden of her sacrifice. "I love you all, more than anything in this world," she whispered, her heart breaking with each syllable. "Please, never forget that."
Entrados, sensing the time for departure had arrived, raised his hand to cast the teleportation spell. As the dark energy swirled around them, Illyanna locked eyes with her family, her gaze filled with a love that could transcend any distance or barrier.
"No, Illyanna! Don't go!" Agnes sobbed, her words catching in her throat as she reached out to grasp her sister's hand one last time.
"You are our light, Illyanna," Antrodos choked out, his voice heavy with grief. "We will bring you back, no matter the cost."
The Fiora family, their hearts shattering, watched as Entrados and Illyanna disappeared in a vortex of shadows. The echoes of their cries, a symphony of anguish, filled the air, their love for Illyanna a testament to the unbreakable bond that united them.
And as the vortex vanished, leaving only a haunting emptiness behind, the Fiora family knew that they would stop at nothing to bring Illyanna home once more, to heal the wounds that had been inflicted upon them, and to restore the love that had been so cruelly torn away.
As the family huddled together in their shared sorrow, Max's gaze fell upon the scattered remnants of their once-happy home. The destruction around them seemed to mirror the broken pieces of their hearts, and the sight of it only served to amplify the depths of their despair.
Antrodos, his voice laced with an unbearable pain, continued speaking to Max, his words trembling with emotion. "You have always been strong, Max, but strength does not always mean victory. We have all faced loss today, and the burden is not yours to bear alone."
Max's eyes filled with fresh tears as he looked at the faces of his family, their features etched with grief. He could see the pain in his father's eyes, the loss weighing heavily on his shoulders as he struggled to find the words to comfort them all.
"I... I just wish I could have done more," Max choked out, his voice cracking under the weight of his regret. "Illyanna, Matterinna... they deserved better. We all deserved better."
As Max's words hung in the air, the silence that followed was deafening, punctuated only by the quiet sobs of Agnes, her body trembling with each heart-wrenching cry. Her tears seemed to flow without end, cascading down her cheeks like a torrent of sorrow.
"We must remember," Antrodos said, his voice wavering, "that we are not defined by our losses, but by how we rise from them. We must honor Illyanna's sacrifice and Matterinna's memory by finding the strength to continue, even when all seems lost."
