A Small Adventure ...

****** Peter's POV ******

After a few days of rest and a lot of tantrums Mr. Barton was finally good.

And God that was a relief.

Although he himself said that I am not the one to blame for what happened and that such things happen in missions sometimes, but I know more than surely that it's just an another lie he is telling me.

I literally couldn't sleep for so long after we came back. Literally due to one simple stupid mistake of mine he almost lost his life, due to one mistake of mine one more person close to me was going to be dead, due to one mistake of mine parker luck was going to strike off another target.

Is everyone I love bound to be dead??

Who is gonna be next? Mr. Stark? mamaspider? cap? Wanda? Dr. Banner? who else? for multiple nights these thoughts kept me awake and infested my sleep with nightmares. I was seeing the entire team dead before my eyes every night and multiple times I found Mr. Stark on my bedside as FRIDAY alerted him about me having nightmares, I felt so guilty, as because of me, even Mr. Stark was not able to have a decent nights sleep in a few days he just shrugged it off saying that he is an insomniac anyways but I knew that he was suffering. I could observe the coffee intake that rose from 4 cups a day to 7-8 cups a day, he was getting tired now so I did the only thing I could think of

That is not sleeping.

It's not like I could sleep for more than 4 hours anyways so this was kind of ok for me. plus, I got a few extra hours for my homework and other stuff.

Mr. stark even called the entire Barton family to the tower and Mr. Barton was thrilled to meet them and introduce me to them. he had a lovely wife called Laura and three kids all of whom were suuper cute. he had a 10 year old son a 7 year old daughter and a 3 year old infant, Cooper, Lila and Nathaniel respectively.

At night every one gathered in the living room for a game of monopoly. which Mr. Bucky won. this game was followed by a game of truth and dare which couldn't have been more eventful.

Mrs. Barton was a absolute pro at this game, courtesy of whom I got to know many embarrassing things about many people .

"Oh !! back in the days, Bucky was so bad at flirting that he got chased down by a group of women out of a country bar once. at last he had to pretend that he is gay in order to save himself from them! , believe me that was the most embarrassed I have ever seen him " told Cap while laughing his heart out.

Miss. Potts said "Oh that's not even close to mine Steve, once when Tony and Rohdey were in MIT they almost got married to each other after drinking alcohol up to the point where they called themselves Cinderella and prince charming, they were absolutely refusing to leave each other from a hug and had to be dragged out of the church and to the hospital by me, because they were vomiting uncontrollably throughout the night. Even the father at church was grossed out. "

after a few very good laughs and some more of such stories, when the turn to ask question was on Lila and Mr. Stark were the one to answer,

Lila asked him what his parents were like.

" Yes Mr. Stark, I am also very curious to know how your parents were, I mean until now, I just kind of assumed that, you just phased into existence when everyone was being too dumb and boring "

" Well... they were ok... normal parents, you know, the 'get good grades and don't mess around with bad stuff ' kind, nothing special just normal parents..." said Mr. Stark but he wasn't his normal self... something was off, otherwise he would have never not commented on the remark I gave him before
