I'll Always Find You

Phoebe's P.O.V

" Is he okay?" I asked as we looked at him, all tight in a little crib with wires on him.

" I do believe so, running a few test to make sure, Luna." The doctor replied as  I moved, grimacing at the pain," I do suggest that you rest." 

What felt like hours, because it was, the doctor finally came back with results. I couldn't stop crying, I don't know what is wrong with me. Knox brought us into here, stayed for 30 minutes and I haven't seen him since. 

" Luna, I am happy to inform you, that this male pup is as healthy as can be. His test results came back good, he's eating good, having good dirty and wet diapers, he's awake. Whenever you feel comfortable taking him home, you may do so. Should I call the Alpha?" He asked.

" No need, I'm here." Knox' voice interrupted. 

" I will give you privacy." He said as he walked out.

" I am sorry, for everything. I should've been here with you both.  I should've never left you." He said as he gave me a hug," Let's get you both home because you won't be ever leaving again." He said.

I literally cried the whole way home.

" Do you have any names?" He broke the silence, trying to get me to stop crying.

" I don't even know your last night." It only made me cry harder.

" Knox Anderson, " He spoke.

" Gaitlin Drake." 

" I do like that." He answered.

" With my last name,"

" No. " He said, finishing the conversation and continuing the drive.

" I'm his mom, I'm the one who decides."

" Not around here you don't. His name can be Gaitlin Drake, but it will be Gaitlin Drake Anderson. " He said as he got the carseat out of the car," I did have a nursery made, it is right across from our room, until we make another one, then he will put in the next room."

" I'm not having anymore," I answered quickly.

Knox growled at me, moving quickly with Gaitlin's carseat into the house, leaving me behind.

Gaitlin began to scream as soon as I got into the house.

" Give him to me, you can't feed him." I remarked as I took him from his arms.

I latched him onto my breast, it did take a few times but eventually he latched and ate. 

" I need you to call your parents and inform them you are fine." He told me as he came downstairs with a baby outfit," put this on and we will get rid of the sleeper from the doctor." He said.

I just zoned him out, starring at the sweet little babe in my arms. I can't believe I had him in a cave, with no medicine like we live in the 1600's. This is nuts to me, I don't even know how to comprehend it.

I still needed to get out of here, I couldn't raise my son here.

" I just want to let you know, I will ALWAYS be able to find Gaitlin. That is my blood, my Alpha blood in his veins, I will know exactly where to find him with that connection." He gave me a kiss on the cheek," Just like I can you, with that mark on your neck." He whispered that part.

I got up, going to find this nursery he had made.
