TODAY WASN'T ANYTHING special. Especially to Katsuki.
April twentieth, his birthday. It wasn't like he despised it, he just never cared for it. Parties were never his thing, always getting tired and social battery running out quick.
But nonetheless, you'd always do something to celebrate.
First year, you threw him a surprise birthday party with the rest of the class. Which, he wasn't a fan of, and you took note.
Second year, you held a small get-together with the deemed "Baku-squad." It was better than the year prior, but Katsuki nearly killed Kaminari multiple times.
Now, it was your third and final year at UA. You were meticulous about everything. This was your last chance to get his birthday perfect.
And baking wasn't your strong suit to say the least.
When Sato had taught you how to bake a birthday cake, he made it all look easier said than done. And now, the ingredients were messily displayed amongst the countertop of the kitchen.
It was nearly midnight on April nineteenth. The plan was to wake him up and surprise him with cake.
It was decorated with orange icing as the base layer. Green pops of icing lined the bottom and top. And of course, black explosions scattered all around. Then to top it off, there was a small candle in the center.
