The Bending Tree
Please still remember the tree that bends,
And remember that I am there
On the side of a beautiful lake where the light shines on the head

But our hands are always warm like the sun
Please still remember the tree that bends,
And imagine that I am there
Laughing with the koi fish dancing along the stream
The wind that so blessed our friendship
Whispering softly to the fallen branches
Please still remember the tree that bends,
And think of me there
Invites you to run again like when we were ten years old
Plunge into mirage lake bubbles
Then walking back to adulthood
