CHAPTER 8: Making Myself Crazy

V's POV

I started to wake up, and when I was getting up I was confused when I was pulled down by a strong force. I then remembered that me and Uzi had slept together last night. I looked over at her, and she was holding onto me. She didn't show any sign that she would let go anytime soon. I tried to squirm out of her grasp one more time before giving up. I ended up cuddling her back. I then realized that she had school today. What time does she wake up at? I'm not sure. I decided to wait for her to wake up.

After what felt like an eternity, I heard an alarm, and quickly looked over at the sudden jolt of noise. When I did, I seen her smack her face. I laughed a little, while she started to let go of me. I then seen her look over at me in shock, guess she forgot we slept together, haha. When she did she said, "ughhh I really don't want to go to school... I just wanna be with you..."
She blushed as the last words came out, I also blushed a little while letting out a slight smile. "Well, do you have to go? I mean... I could kill everyone for you then you won't have to go~"
"Yeah, I skipped a lot of class, turns out if I don't have a passing grade, then I have to restart this stupid year. I didn't notice my grades were absolute trash until Mr. Riley called me over to his desk and told me. Also, you can't just go in a killing spree."
"Aww man...we'll this is off topic, but I heard N say it and I can't get it off my mind. We're you seriously names after your dad?"
"Pftt what?? No. He just called him Mr. Uzi. I haven't got a clue why. His name is actually Khan. Pftt, if I was named after him I wouldn't use that name for sure."
"AAHHAHAH!!!! That would've been hilarious."
"Eugh no way. Well, unfortunately I have to get ready for school. So..."
"Aww your going to leave me already~?"
"Yeah, I am."

When Uzi said this, she kissed me before going down the ladder. I let out a little grin when she did. I liked her kisses. They were either short and cute, or long and passionate.

I was just staring off into space when Uzi suddenly said, "I'll be back, keep an eye on N for me."
"Yeah, yeah. Hold on."

I quickly climbed down the ladder and gave her a hug before she left. She hugged me back, it was a pretty tight hug. After we pulled away from the hug, I kissed her on the forehead and told her,"Just try to make it through the day. It will be over before you know it. And I'm still open to killing everyone if you want~"
When I said this, I winked at her. She blushed a little and did a little salute before walking out of the room. It was really... cute. It was kinda funny to see her do that. Is all I could do was let out a little smile at her. I was a little bummed out, but she'll be back soon. Now I've gotta try and get N to tell me what the hell happened.

Uzi's POV

When I walked out the room, I instantly wanted to run back in and give V another hug. I wanted to hug her all day. I would if I could. I started to walk on out to school after letting out an annoyed sigh. I just really hope today goes by fast. I also really want to know what's wrong with N.

When I arrived at the class, I sat down in my assigned seat. I then threw my bag on the ground, while taking out a crusty notebook and a pencil. I don't really care to stay organized.

After I got that out, I was in my phone until Mr. Riley demanded I put it away, while I let out a scoff. We're allowed to be on our phones before class starts, but I honestly don't care.

I don't really remember what we did, just all of that boring school stuff. We mostly took notes though. I doodled instead. Well, i took most of the notes for my grade.

When I was walking back to my locker, I heard my name being called, well whispered. I turned my head really fast, and there was N behind a corner. I quickly looked around, then ran over to him.
"N??? What are you doing here!?"
He gave me a hug when I ran up to him, he almost looked relieved. It was pretty... concerning. I really wonder what the heck happened.
"Hey Uzi! I was wondering where one of your book holders might be?"
"Book holders? You mean a library?"
"I think? I'm not sure. It's a place with loads of books. I'm thinking it might have something about your special eye."
"Seriously, quit calling it that!!! *sigh* Yes, it's called a library, and we do have one. I'll tell you the directions in a moment. But first... why are you so clingy lately? I mean you are normally, but all of a sudden it's gotten really bad. What happened?"
"Uhmm... just looking out for my best friend! Haha...ha?"
I just stared at N with complete disbelief. I didn't believe him for a second. He wasn't this clingy yesterday, or during my transformation... does he know something? Clearly... right? Why else would he be acting like this?
"N... you can tell me anything. Why are you being like this all of a sudden?"
"I just... wanna help... that's it."
"I don't believe you for a second, but the library is past that corner, you take a left, then go straight, another left, then a right. Then it should be there."
"Thanks Uzi!"
"N! Before you go... just promise you'll not work yourself out? Clearly you know something, but it's not worth getting all worked up about. Sure, this shit sucks and I want it gone as soon as possible... but you can't just overwork yourself about it."
"...okay Uzi... I'll... try."
This statement only made me more concerned. He didn't deny knowing something, so... I'm wondering if he found something about whatever the heck happened. But why would he be so terrified? Is the worse yet to come?
