"Do you think he'll really do that for us?" I nodded, starting my jeep up, "I may not be his daughter but he's the only person who's ever cared for me Pope, he may have looked calm, but he's as pissed as a poked rattler, I don't doubt him for a second..."

"I'm not gonna let you two be punished because Topper can't control himself or his friends," Pope shook his head as we backed out of the driveway, "It's not your fault, but thank you," I nodded to myself and we drove off, "hey, where do you think Johnny boy has been?" He paused, looking at me, "I don't know, but it's a bit weird he's not here, didn't see him at all yesterday."

I sighed biting my lip as we drove coming to a stop sign a familiar vehicle across from us, "you gotta be kidding me, he's everywhere," I rolled my eyes as he stayed stopped just watching us across the way, "fuck him, left or right?" I looked at Pope, "my house, I have to go set up for midsummers with my dad."

I turned right, "fuck that's today?" He nodded as we drove to his place, "What are you gonna wear?" I let out a laugh dead panning forward, "clothes, preferably pajama shorts and a tank top but I know it'll be that little number hanging on my door." He snorted looking out the window, "And what exactly is this little number?"

"A thin double strapped, fully covered back, silky white gown that reaches my feet, has a slit up the side, thankfully no one will be able to see my mortal wounds. Or my neck," he has this weird face as I added the last part, "Are you trying to picture it?" He nodded, "well, let me give you all the details."

I had literally just given him all the details and he sat expectant for more words, "was that all the details?"
