I had seen you in my dreams,
Amid the veils of haze.
I longed my arms to touch you,
You evanesced.
I stayed intact, my arms still stretched.
My arms began to roll back and fall in place.
And I turned my face away.
When you called me loud,
I turned back to find you, standing with stretched arms.
I ran back to touch you.
But I couldn't.
I had awakened.
