Dinner and Alice (6)

               ''I can't believe how grown up, and gorgeous you are.'' 

The sisters met up with their father at a local diner where they were supposed to have their dinner at. Hayley and Charlie have been there multiple times but Bella was here for the first time since she hasn't been in Forks in years.

''Hey, Bella! You remember me?'' Hayley looked up to see Charlie's friend, Waylon whom she immediately recongnised by voice. Bella looked at her dad and Hayley for support but got no answer. Hayley was too busy eating her fries, not wanting them to get cold.

''I played Santa one year.'' He laughed trying to refresh her memory.

''Yeah, Waylon she hasn't had a Christmas here since she was 4.'' commented Charlie, not wanting to get Bella awkward.

''I bet I made an impression though didn't I?'' he looked at Bella trying to get a laugh out of her.

''Buttcrack Santa.'' Cora answered. Bella started to laugh of the image of this guy being Santa.

''Aye. Kids love those little bottles though.'' Waylon told the waitress Cora. ''Alright Waylon, let them eat their burgers.'' Cora grabbed is arm and started slowly pushing him away from the table.

''As soon as your done, I'll bring you both your favourite. Berry Cobbler remember? You Dad still has it every Thursday.'' both girls let out a giggle and nodded.

Hayley took the ketchup bottle and put a little more on her plate and put the bottle back to it's place. Then Bella and Charlie went for the bottle at the same time. Bella was going to let her Dad have it but Charlie placed it infront of her and took the barbecue sauce instead.

''Thanks.'' Bella said while squeezing the bottle.

''How was your first day at the new school?'' asked Charlie from both of his daughters. ''Yeah, it was good'' answered Bella. ''Yeah, it was great, Alice Cullen asked me to go shopping with her tomorrow.'' 

''So, a new friend?'' asked Charlie from Hayley. ''I guess so'' responded Hayley smiling.

After an hour of awkward talking and eating the Swan's went home. The sister's went to their rooms to do their homework. Hayley was finished talking to her Mom and knew she was going to call Bella next.

Hayley was stuck question 26. She was erasing and writing but her answer didn't make any sense. Then her phone called with an unknown caller ID on it. ''Hello, Hayley Swan speaking''she put her phone to her ear.

''If your stuck on question 26, then the answer is 139.2382''. Hayley recognised the voice right away. ''Alice? How did you-'' 

''Know your number or know the question you were stuck on?''

''Well that is for you to figure out'' Alice responded while chuckling lightly. ''Okay then'' Hayley laughed.

''What's up?'' ''Nothing much, Rose and I were wondering if you'd like to come over Saturday.

''Is Rose your sister?'' Hayley asked. ''Yeah, I told her a little about you''

''Okay then, and of course I'd love to come over!'' ''That's perfect! We can go shopping tomorrow and after that you'll have dinner at my house. My parents are also very excited to meet you!'' 

Hayley froze for a second.''Isn't it a little weird that she has known Alice for less than 24 hours and her parents already know about Hayley?'' she thought ''Whatever, I'm just glad I have a friend.'' 

Hayley spoke again. ''I'd have to talk to my Dad about it but otherwise I'd love to come.''

''Great! Then I'll see you at school tomorrow.'' Alice answered and hung up. Hayley put the callers ID to ''Alice'' and smiled.

Hayley was so happy that she already had a friend on the 1st day of school. Hayley quickly wrote the answer Alice gave her down and closed her book. Then she went to bed
