Hayley is happy when their mom asks to go live with their dad for a while. But when Bella and Hayley get introduced to vampires then things go a little upside down.
Hayley was applying makeup for fun at home when Bella barged into her room.
''Listen. Do you know the theory about the Cullen's and the Quilente tribe?'' Hayley immediately remembered how Jake told that story to her when they were little. ''Yeah. What about it?''
''Jacob was calling the Cullen's pale faces and saying maybe they moved back after a long time.'' Bella sat down next to Hayley on her bed. ''Okay, so this is the crazy part. But you have to trust me, okay?'' ''Bells, your kind of freaking me out.'' Hayley put her brush down. '' I think the Cullen's might not be human.''
Hayley burst out laughing and looked back at her. ''Oh you're serious?'' she looked at Bella. ''Bells, I-'' Bella was so glad that Hayley believed her. ''I think you have lost it.'' Hayley stood up. Bella spoke too soon. ''Hayley! Ugh!'' Bella stormed out of Hayley's room.
When the girls were driving to school Bella started speaking again.
''I'm serious. Even with an adrenaline rush, there is no way Edward stopped that van.''
''Bells! Stop. They are normal people. You've got to let it go already.''
When it was lunch time Bella was looking around for Edward while Hayley was looking for a table to sit at. When they sat down at the table Jessica looked at Bella. ''He's not here. Whenever there is nice weather the Cullen's disappear.''
''What they just ditch?'' Bella asked. ''No um, Dr and Mrs Cullen yank them out for like hiking and camping and stuff. Tried that out on my parents, not even close.'' Jessica explained.
''Guys! I'm going to prom with Eric. I just asked him. I took control!'' Angela came over to the table squealing. ''That's amazing Ange!'' Hayley hugged Angela. ''I told you that would happen Bella smiled.
''Are you sure you both have to go out of town?'' Angela asked looking between the sisters. Hayley looked at Bella in confusion. Bella put her head down knowing Hayley was probably going to tell the truth but Hayley said something else.
''Yeah, it's a family thing'' Jessica looked at the three and stated. ''We should probably go shopping in Port Angeles before all the good dresses get cleaned out.''
''Port Angeles, do you mind if I come?'' Bella asked. Angela looked at Bella ''Yeah I need your opinion. Hayley. Will you come?'' ''Yeah, sure.'' Hayley smiled.
When Jessica and Angela started putting on dresses Hayley kept complimenting them. She stood up and started walking around the shop still wanting to purchase a dress. And there was one dress that caught her eye.

She did feel like it was a little extra but just felt like it was made for her. A shopkeeper came to her. ''Do you want to try it on? It would look great on you.'' she said with a smile. ''Yea I would.'' Hayley responded. The shopkeeper said to wait in the dressing room and she will bring the dress there, so Hayley did.
''Here'' the shopkeepers voice said while her hand was holding the dress and holding it out without looking in the dressing room. After a couple of minutes Hayley came out of the dressing room with the green dress on. She went to her friends and sister to see their opinion.
''Wow! You look stunning.'' Angela said with her eyes open. ''That does look amazing on you.'' Bella looked at Hayley. ''Yeah you do.'' Jessica uttered.
Hayley looked at herself in the mirror. The dress fit perfectly and she couldn't help but twirl around. But then she remembered she wasn't going to prom. Her mouth started to frown.
She wanted to as Jacob but he didn't go to Forks High School. She was really sad because it would've been weird if she asked the boys she rejected if they would still want to go. Plus her sister had everyone believing they were heading to Jacksonville.
''Bella what do you think?'' Jessica gained the attention of Bella. ''That looks great.'' Bella said to her. ''You said that about the last five dresses though.'' Jessica let out a fake laugh. ''I thought they were all pretty good.'' she laughed.
''You're not really into this are you?'' Angela looked at Bella. ''I actually really just wanna go to this bookstore. Um, meet you guys at the restaurant?'' Bella grabbed her backpack. ''You sure?'' Jessica asked.
