Tyler was reading the news on his computer. Three people inexplicably gone missing. They all were fairly popular YouTube celebrities and the only lead that they authorities had was a man wearing a gray hoodie and blue jeans that was seen leading one of the missing YouTubers named Roahm through a convention.
He heard his Skype ringing. Seeing that his friend Josh was calling, he answered. "What's up, bitch," Josh chimed. "Not much, how 'bout you, asshole," replied Tyler while smirking. "Hey, have you heard of the disappearances," Josh asked suddenly getting serious, "I'm starting to get nervous." "Yeah, I was just reading about those, but I'm not too worried about it. It's literally been three random and unconnected YouTubers," Tyler responded. "Even still," mused Josh, "I don't like the sound of it all. It just all sounds really sketchy." "Whatever, man. I'm not gonna let it bother me and you shouldn't let it bother you," Tyler stated. "Yeah, I guess you're right... Just don't do anything stupid," Josh said as he signed off.
Tyler sighed and leaned back in his chair. He hated to admit it, but he was scared. Terrified, in fact. He hated feeling helpless, but with people inexplicably disappearing--people who do that same thing that he does--he can't help but be nervous.
"I need to get my mind off of this," Tyler says to himself, "I might as well play something." He leans over to turn on his WiiU when he sees something that makes him stop instantaneously. He is looking into a mirror that is reflecting the window that is behind him, and he sees a man in a gray hoodie and blue jeans walking down the sidewalk.
"That could literally be anybody," Tyler tells himself, trying to calm himself down. He goes ahead and presses the button to turn on the system when he hears a loud knock on his front door. Tyler tries to ignore it, but the person knocks again, louder this time. Tyler gets up, grabs a baseball bat, and walks to the door. He quietly curses that he doesn't have a peephole in his door as he slowly unlocks and opens the door, bat in hand.
"Surprise!!!," Josh says, scaring Tyler half to death. "For the love of Christ, Josh, don't do that to me," Tyler says relieved. "Sorry," Josh says unapologetically while snickering, "I just wanted to see your face."
"Well come on in," Tyler says, gesturing for Josh to enter. Josh thanks him and starts walking towards Tyler's room when he stops dead in his tracks. "Everything alright," Tyler asks. "NAME. NOW," a deep voice booms from around the corner. "J-J-Josh," he stammers. "Then you are of no use to me," the sinister voice states as Tyler hears a gunshot, making him close his eyes and cover his ears in response. When he opens his eyes, he sees his friend Josh sprawled across his floor, with a gunshot wound in his temple. Tyler stands there speechless, mouth hanging open as he drops to his knees and starts crying.
The murderer walks into the room where Tyler is laying on the ground, sobbing. He looks up at the man and sees the familiar dark gray hoodie and blue jeans. "Why," Tyler asks the man, pain hanging on his voice. "You will play an integral part in our plan," the man answers, swinging his foot around to kick Tyler in the side of the head, knocking him out.
After injecting Tyler with a strangely colored serum and tying his arms and legs up, the man pulls out a walkie talkie. "Target neutralized. Additional but unavoidable casualty. Ready for recruitment."
Author's notes: Hey everybody!!! Thank you soooo much for 100 views. It truly means a lot to me! For those who don't know who the Josh in this chapter was, his YouTube profile is JoshJepson. He started a channel with Tyler called Versus. Toodles.
