Hawaii is that sort of magical place where once you're there it feels like almost ANYTHING can happen. Strange, spectactular, exciting, interesting, beautiful, amaizing, grandiose, unbelievable, wonderful things. Or at least it feels that way to me.

Since we've been here I've seen MIRACLES.

But I wont get into those just yet, because what fun would that be?

Here in Hawaii everybody is a part of this thing called "Ohana" which translates to family, but it means so much more. People here are more than family, I dont even get to speak to my family most holidays! No, ohana is different from family, its more than that because here it has nothing to do with blood, or race, or skin color, or religion, or the fact your family member married and you've got more relatives. No, its something almost spiritual. Im a skeptic and yet I embrace some things that are considered paranormal. Why some things skepticism and others not? Im not entirely sure myself. I notice that a lot lately, im not sure of much.

Anyways here ohana is based off of sone key things, community, repesct, and trust. The people who fall into these categories when with you are your ohana. You refer to elders as Auntie or uncle and peers as your cousins.
