Zayn's POV.

"Hey babe! So when are you coming home? It's been so many days since I saw you.", I spoke into the phone.

It's been almost a week since Katie and I met, and I miss her so much.

"Relax Romeo, I'll be there in an hour.", Katie's voice came from the other side, making me smile at the pleasant news.

"I absolutely love weekends.", I chirped into the phone, as I jumped up and went to my bedroom to freshen up. Even though it's just Katie, well more of since it's Katie, I have to look my best. I heard Katie giggling on the other side.

"Bye Zayn, I love you!"

"Bye Ti, come soon I can't wait!"

"Yes my munchkin."

I chuckled. "Love you too."

Throwing my phone to my bed as I hung up the call, I rushed to the washroom.

I just feel I have changed so much since Katie has come into my life. And that change is written all over me. All that I feel is happiness, pure happiness. That emptiness that I had been feeling inside me for years, that is sort of filling up. Katie is filling me up, completing me.

I jumped into the shower as I dropped down into just my boxers and rested on the wall, as water dripped down my tired body.

After ten minutes of hot shower, I walked out, taking the towel by the side to cover myself up. Putting on my sweatpants, I decided to drop the idea of dressing up formally. How about coming shirtless in front of your girlfriend? Surely a good idea.

I walked out into the living room, grabbing a packet of fringles to munch on till Katie arrived. I relaxed onto the couch, turning on the TV, and patiently waiting for my princess.

Katie's POV.

I sure as hell need to tell Zayn the truth today. I can't keep something like this from him. And I just hope Zayn's reaction is not too harsh knowing I am equal to nothing.

"Bye Mom! I'm going over to Zayn's tonight. I'll see you soon yeah?", I called out to Mom who was busy cooking for Judy in the kitchen.

I had told Mom about my relationship with Zayn, and she couldn't be more happier, maybe because she knew Zayn was the best man a girl could ever get.

"Okay love! Stay safe okay? Love you!", Mom replied from her place, listening to which I walked out.

"Love you too Mom!"

I unlocked the car and jumped inside, eager to see Zayn's beautiful face. It's been exactly five days since I last saw him. And these five days were tough. Thank God we Facetimed once in a while, I wouldn't have been able to survive through these days. Each day that we moved ahead into our relationship, I felt more surreal. I realized I had missed out on so many feelings, feelings that are so different, and all that they give you is joy. It's now that I know what love feels like, Zayn made me feel that.

I turned off the engine as I reached Zayn's house, with absolutely zero patience now. I ran towards the door as soon as I stepped out, not giving a shit about how one of Zayn's neighbour was staring at me.

I rang the doorbell, slightly jumping in my place.

Within a few seconds, the door flung open, and I was stunned.

Holy shit.

Is there anything better than seeing your boyfriend, the hottie Zayn Malik after five days, standing in front of you, shirtless? I doubt there's anything that's comparable to this piece of art.
