Despite the damage from the storm the night before, the day was pleasant and beautiful. Birds chirped as Enos finally stepped out of the General Lee, and he smiled cheerily up at them, despite knowing that he didn't have a lot of time. He held his flowers tighter to his chest, watching their beautifully-sculpted heads press together under the pressure. Suddenly growing worried, he quickly released them, afraid he would hurt them. The flowers sprang back nonetheless, just as bright and full of life as they always were.

His heart beat faster as he neared the door, standing on the front steps of the Dukes' house. He looked up at their porch light for a second before taking a deep breath and knocking on the door, heat rising to his cheeks as he did. A rush of emotions came over him and he had to cover his face with one hand and turn his head, the other arm outstretched holding the bouquet of flowers. His heart raced hearing someone come to the door, listening to it open, waiting for Daisy's soft voice.

However, there was no sweet voice of Daisy, and the doorway was silent for a long moment.

"Enos?"

Enos slowly removed his hand from his face, turning to look at the person at the door. He looked up to see Luke raising an eyebrow at him, arms crossed. Embarrassed, Enos immediately flushed again, reeling the flowers behind his back.

"I take it you're lookin' for Daisy," Luke said, leaning against the doorframe.

Enos just nodded, nearly afraid to speak.

It was then that Daisy appeared from behind Luke, pushing him out of the way and running into Enos's arms. She threw her arms around his neck, pressing her lips onto his. Meanwhile, Luke still stood on the porch and Bo appeared from his place on top of the roof.

Enos and Daisy separated, Enos blushing and handing the flowers to Daisy who smiled and took them eagerly, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

Bo rested his chin on his hand, looking down at them. "Hey y'all, other people live here you know."

Enos scratched the back of his head. "I-I'm sorry, y'all, I just wanted to pay Daisy a little visit while I's on my lunch break."

"Don't listen to Bo, Enos, we don't mind, seriously," Luke said.

"Yeah, don't listen to him, Enos, he's just jealous 'cause he's lonely," Daisy said, laughing and leaning into Enos.

"Am not!" Bo called back, though nobody could see him anymore he could still definitely hear them.

Enos grinned and backed off the front steps, wiping his hands on his pants. "I-I better be headin' back now," he said, tipping his hat to Daisy. "I'll see you later, Daisy."

Daisy smiled and blew a kiss at him before waving goodbye.

Enos smiled back at her, tripping on the hood of the General Lee as he did, before finally coming to his senses and climbing into the car. Daisy sighed and leaned against the doorframe, watching the car drive away. After they reached the road, she turned around to find Luke watching too, recognizing the look on his face.

"Oh come on Luke, you know Enos would never do anythin' to hurt me," she said.

Luke shook his head. "It ain't Enos I'm worried about, I trust Enos. I just... I got a bad feelin' all of a sudden."

"What do you mean?"

"I... I dunno, just... uneasy, like somethin' bad's gonna happen."

"I'm sure it's nothin' Luke, you're probably just stressed. You and Bo ain't barely been able to catch a break in a long time."
