This is not head canon. It's a bit different but the characters are all same. Itachi didn't kill the clan as third Hokage Hiruzen solved the issue with them by offering Fugaku, along with all the major clan leaders, a place on the council since in this version Koharu and Homura are reasonable.

Danzo was killed by Orochimaru as he was acting as a double spy to sniff out the traitor under Sandaime's orders. The news of Orochimaru experimenting on humans were just rumours spread to find the insider who had evil intentions for Konoha. The snake Sannin was in fact running an orphanage for children abandoned for the fear of their powers, nurturing them and turning them into fine Shinobi and that is where all the missing children were. Not killed or experimented on without consent. Some older teens offered their bodies to be experimented on to help with research to protect their homeland, Konoha. But that was with consent of course, and just harmless experiments.

Itachi was on good terms with both Naruto and Sasuke as the younger ones were good friends since their academy days. Sasuke didn't care about what his elders said about Naruto. Naruto once asked to be his friend randomly and he accepted finding no reason to reject. And that was one of the best decisions of his life. The boy was precious and the two most skilled Uchihas would die before something happened to the blonde goofball. They both had Mangekyo Sharingan as they were really close to Shisui and they saw him die right in front of their eyes. They were all drunk one night and Shisui slipped and fell off a cliff and them bring underage, their drunk selves couldn't do anything to save him.

When team 7 was formed, Sakura quickly joined the protect-Naruto club. She is not interested in Sasuke as she is a lesbian and has her sights on someone else. Kakashi is a lot more closed off than in canon.

The Akatsuki signed their affiliation to Konoha after Orochimaru and Naruto convinced them to forget about their sinister objectives and just lead peaceful lives right after Pain's attack on Konoha. They're treated like Naruto by the villagers because of their past so naturally they are part of the protect-Naruto squad too. They live in the same building as Naruto and like to spend most of their time in his room. Especially Deidara, Sasori and Jiraiya's former students- Yahiko, Nagato and Konan. Yes. Yahiko is alive. But more often than not, the Akatsuki are out on long missions so they are barely home.

Team 7 is presently 17 years old. Kakashi is 27. Obito met with the falling rock accident when he and Kakashi were 17. And they were dating for 3 years when it happened. The war is over and team 7, The Great Shinobi Alliance and the Akatsuki killed Madara and Zetsu before they could acquire the beasts and bring back Kaguya. So they are respected and not hated that much anymore.
