It has been a while your health was fully back, once again.
You still would hang out with big man sometimes, he would surprise you as time passed. Like tackling you into a hug, with those blanket-like fins, you were almost falling. But you somehow would survive those, you would just end up with a red face. Despite his species, his body was awfully warm.

So we are here, today. You were wandering in Splatsville, not any normal wandering, you were heading towards Deep Cut's house! And it looked pretty huge! . Today was special for you, you were actually freaking out, a lot. You see, today you were actually invited to a sleepover. Big Man, actually, invited you, to a sleepover. It was actually more deep cut inviting you but BIG MAN WOULD BE THERE! So it was natural for you to freak out the fact that you were going to sleep in the same house as your crush. (Happened to me once! Got rejected!)

You held tight on your bag, a small drop of sweat flowing down your forehead. Now you were at the entrance, in front of the door.

Hesitatingly reaching out your hand to the bell, you would almost flinch when the door rang, even though you knew damn well you're the one ringing it.

Frye opened the door, a grin quickly appearing on her face. "Y/N!! Hiiii!!" She cheered, tackling you into a hug which you happily returned. It was surprising on how excited the famous girl was to see you. "Hi Frye! I can't believe I'm staying here tonight!" In which the eel girl would giggle, wasting no time grabbing your arm and leading you in.

As you both entered, you noticed Shiver talking to her phone. Shiver was pretty like Frye, not going to lie. If it wasn't for your dumb crush for Big Man you would prefer them for sure.

To not disturb her from it, you just waved at her, on which the octoling waved back.

"So Y/N! Whatd'ya wanna do?" Frye asked, finally letting go of your arm and going to instead, pat her pet eel. You didn't know she had one, no she had many and now she was hugging all of them. You reached your hand out to pat one too, surprisingly finding the teethy noodle cute.

"I don't know honestly, what do you do in a sleepover?" Y/N asked, continuing on patting the eel. Frye would think for a bit, shrugging herself.

It was that time you both realized you two never had a sleepover

So you both ended up patting the eels for a while, then doing a prank call to Shiver because the walls in this house are thick as hell so she wouldn't hear your voice from another room.

Then you watched a movie like the dumbasses you were like there are much better stuff to do you know

But while watching it, you perked up, realizing

Where the hell is Big Man?

You turned to Frye, which seemed to be really into the movie "Hey Frye?" You ask, causing the eel girl to look at you "Wha happen?" She asked

"Do you know where Big Man is? I didn't see him anywhere"

Frye thought for a bit
"Aaah! I remembered! I dunno why Biggo's in his room since the morning! He weirdly refuses to get out, you can check on him though!"

He locked himself in his room like an emo kid? That was unheard. "Oh, well I wanna check on him then" you stand up, wanting to get Frye along you. But you realize on how invested she was in the movie so you chose not to ask her, going on the staircase and preparing yourself mentally.

It took you a while to find his room, since this house had too many rooms. But in the end, from the door's red pattern and the huge 'Big Man's Room!' writing, you guessed this was probably his room.

You knock on the door "Hey...Big Man? It's me!...Y/N!" You said quietly, though you didn't receive any kind of an answer. You stood there for a bit, knocking again "Big Man?..."

He never acted like this before, not answering someone. Was he dead? Did he faint? You started to feel worried for him, you needed to check if he was alive.

Taking in a breath, you slowly twisted the door handle, the door opening slowly. Maybe he did close himself in his room but he wouldn't be mean enough to lock the door after all. As you stepped in, looked around you let out a gasp, instantly froze at the view.

Sure Big Man was there, asleep, mission accomplished right?

But nope, he really didn't look like Big Man...I mean he did but!..

There was a 6 ft tall or maybe even taller octoling boy laying on the bed. He has a faint brown-ish skin color, red patterns around his eyes.

His hair was red, which was tied back.

He seemed to have a long, gray manta tail, which was swaying around.

He also had a simple short on, he didn't even bother to have a shirt— wait what's that

OH MY GOD HE HAD SIX PACKS, HOW?!

Was this...really the innocent lovable creature you crushed on?

How did he just, magically turn into the most hottest octoling boy you have ever seen?

While you were having a mental crisis, the octoling seemed to wake up slowly. His bright red eyes opened slowly, blinking. He noticed you, his tail curling up defensively.
