chapter 11: Game On

It's been a few days since that...'incident',y/n has dealt with it well, but mk he took it...differently. When y/n returned to the noodle shop,he was confronted by mk asking if he was okay,if she did anything, and how you were able to escape.

"I ran-_-," y/n says blankly as mk stares at him suspiciously,his eyes narrow.

"Ran where?"

"I ran into the hole that spider queen made." y/n mutters nonchalantly as a thick silence fills the air until mk speaks.

"Okay,but please be safe... something off about her," Mk says with concern with slight fear.

"Okay, thanks, mk..." y/n says sincerely as he walks out of the doors of the noodle shop and towards mei's house.

'Don't worry, mk I'll protect you and everyone from her...' y/n says as the camera cuts to present day as our protagonist searching throughout monkey king's. Sandy searches a crate of junk.

"Remind me what it is we're looking for?" Sandy says in confusion while he pulls out a cube with stars on it. Mk slumps & teleports beside Sandy and snatches it out of his hand,throwing it somewhere out of frustration.

"Mmph,ah!–I'm trying to find something super, super powerful so I can defeat..." Mk stops mid sentence and has a flashback to 'her'. While y/n stares at him with worry as LBD'S words echo in his head but he soon shakes it off. As mk blabbers about how it will make him unstoppable to defeat.

"I thought monkie King was treating you with remote lessons," Sandy says blankly.

"Yeah,and I already learned all the different lessons that the monkey king of vacations left for me.. I don't know,I just.." mk says as he morphs the staff into size and shape, and then he stuffs it into his ear.

"I feel like I'm ready for something bigger.. more powerful. mph!" Mk pouts as he spins in a slouched position.

"A wise warrior leads their enemy into their own destruction.. What does that mean." Sandy says as y/n was about to tell him but was cut off by mk.

"That means I just need to get stronger! that it'll mean certain defeat to fight me."

"Maybe you need a break, little  don't ya kick back and relax."

"Did monkey king take breaks!" Mk yells

"He's literally on vacation right now,plus he put some serious hours in this game," Mei says nonchalantly as mk sweatdrops.

"Also, how he sat on his rump on that cloud stuffing his face with peach chips"

"He does not!" Mk says as he flays his arms in air.

"Sure..." y/n says with narrowed eyes as mk sweatdrops more,but soon shakes it off and turns back to mei without even questioning how y/n knows that.

"Ah huh,like ten thousand," Mei says as she continues to play.

"Anyway–there's no way monkey king would waste his time on this*gasp* this must be it!"Mk says as he snatches it off of mei's head.

"HEY,MK!" Mei yells as y/n pets her the top of her head and soon scratches her under chin which makes her calm down alot and melt into his hand,y/n rubs the side of her face as she melts into his hand,while she begins to purr and has a cat-like face. Which is quite cute as sandy stares with eyes of wanting,as he slightly squeals from the cuteness.

"Can I.." Sandy says with puppy dog eyes  as y/n nods,they begin to pet mei more, which she enjoys. While mk skips through the tutorial afterward, he goes to the ingame store as wukong talks to him. With one scene, he tears off his clothes to reveal his buff body. Afterward, mk goes into the store.
