Chapter 13: A master's secrets

"WWWWHHHHAAAAATTTT!!!" They all say in surprise of what y/n said while he sighed in exhaustion.

"Wait–so...when do we begin?" Mk says with curiosity.

"Right now... just follow me. " y/n says nonchalantly,he makes a hand in 'follow me' motion as mk follows suit. But when they were about to leave until they were stopped by the rest of the group, giving them puppy dog eyes.

"Can we please come with you?" They say in an adorable tone, trying to butter them up, which works on mk but y/n...he stares at them with a cold blank stare that looks into their very souls. As they shrink in fear,mei and Tang fall in front of y/n and start begging him with tears in their eyes. While y/n sighs with his eyes closed,he rubs the bridge of his nose,looking at the duo, which causes them to stop immediately.

"*sighs* Did I even say that you weren't allowed to come with us,hmmm?" Y/N says as he looks down at them with an arched eyebrow,the duo gets up, looking quite embarrassed. He sighs again and heads towards the door but stops in front of it. And turns around to them with a confused look.

"Are you just gonna stand their or are we going?"

"Coming!," they shout,running to the door as a cloud of dust envelops the camera, but it soon subsides to reveal the group in a wide ravine.

"Wow... how'd you even find this place y/n?" Mei says with exictment as mk surveys the area with awe.

"Exploring" y/n says blankly as a metaphorical anvil falls on her head.

"You sure are straight forward, aren't you?"

"Yep..."

"Okay...y/n what am I supposed to do for my first lesson–oh!, l know you're gonna have me fight some super powerful monster or–" Mk says with exictment as literal stars appear in his eyes but is soon interrupted by y/n.

"Sparing" y/n says blankly as the stars in mk's eyes crack & shatter into pieces as he looks at y/n dumdfounded.

"Wuh–wait what!,I thought we we're gonna be doing some epic battles with y'know*making a fight scene with hands* that!,not this." Mk says, flailing his arms in the air while sighs and then slightly smirks.

'Man,mk can be such a naive kid' y/n thought.

"Hmm,what's so lame about sparring with me?" y/n says slyly,mk tries to retort but couldn't find what to say as he huffs.

"Okay,so I get to spar with you....this is gonna be fun and don't be angry when I win,hehehehe!" Mk laughs while he stares at him with an arrogant smirk. As the scene cuts to reveal y/n & mk standing on the opposite sides of the ravine. While the rest of the group watch from the sidelines as mei cheers for mk. While pigsy begins to countdown.

"GO!!!" Afterward, mk bolts towards y/n. He pulls out his staff from his ear,twirling it around his fingers before swinging downward at y/n,only to have him sidestep out the way,poking mk with his finger before mk could react he's flung straight into the wall of ravine which causes a large explosion erupt from the impact while the group stare,jaws agape while y/n stands there.

'Maybe I should've put less into that...hehe' y/n thought as he sweatdropped while mk jumped out the plum of smoke as he tried to hit y/n, but he evades it by bending backwards. As they disappear from sight,to be seen as a blur. Y/n dodges all of mk's attacks until mk enlarges his staff,smashing it on top of y/n, which cause's a large amount of dirt, and stone to be uplifted from the ground. As y/n appears behind him and tries to punch him,mk barely dodges it as he retracts and shrinks his staff. They begin to send a barrage of attacks at each other until y/n blocks the blow,a sizable crater forms under his feet as mk jumps back.

"Heh,you took a lot out of me. Let's–" y/n says even though it was a lie, but he wanted to keep mk's hopes up until he was interrupted.

"You're lying," mk says with his hair covering his eyes as y/n flinched.

"Wuh?"

"Stop holding back...please," mk says as y/n sighs.

"Fine..." y/n says as he appears in front of mk,he tries to hit y/n only to have him appear behind him as he turns around to see what could only be perceived as death.

As y/n's fist stops mere centimeters from mk's face,a large shockwave erupts from behind him as dust & dirt wash over the area,y/n bops mk's nose as he jogs back to the group who were entirely shocked saying.

"Let's go back to pigsy noodle,cause I am hungry" As mk turns around to see the dust subside to reveal that the whole side of the ravine was utterly obliterated by the sheer force of y/n's punch,mk's eyes widen as he surries back after them. Unaware that someone was watching the whole thing with a wide grin.

"I see why my lady has taken such interest into him... maybe a bit too much." He said as he vanished in a light blue smoke.
