Bonus Chapter: The accursed armor

The spiders' demons scuddled about within the sewer system,murmuring to themselves. Syntax continued to work on his gadgets,while Huntsman cleaned some of his weapons and fed his... pets.

The spider queen stared at the child.. or at least what meets the eye,the LBD continued to work upon her own plans,leaving the spiders oblivious. Her eyes narrowed at the LBD with a suspicious gaze. The demoness had noticed her gaze for some time,deciding not to say anything & to focus upon her own plans.

The Spider Queen was about to say something until a rift of some sort appeared before them,sending electric bolt & sparks of purple throughout the area,sending a tremor through the area.

"What the hell!?" Huntsman yells gruffly out of shock,everyone except LBD stared with shock evident upon their faces. The rift abruptly ejects something from it,which slams into the ground,sending dust everywhere as the rift soon closes afterward. The lights flicker slightly.

The dust & smoke slowly disperses as the silhouette of something is seen on the ground. The spider queen approaches the silhouette,dispersing the dust with a swift swing of one of her legs.

The smoke clears to reveal... the armor,which seems to be deactivated or unconscious,most of the cracks on its chest seemed to have fully recovered & sealed,having the small indent of someone's fist imprinted on it's chest.

"Isn't that the thing that torn up the city a few weeks ago?" Goliath exclaimed bluntly,Syntax gave him an annoyed look.

"Of course it is,you small brained buffoon!" Syntax exclaimed harshly to him. He flinched from Syntax tone. Huntsman began to approach the armor,cautiously putting his hand on it only to be zapped afterward.

"Gah!,damn thing shocked me!"

Huntsman exclaimed angrily,kicking the armor in the head,which makes its head jostle a little. Syntax then abruptly scanned it,his eyes slightly widened from what his scans told him.

"This thing is made of metals & materials far beyond what I've ever seen,it's molecular structure is quite unique,it's almost.... organic?"

Syntax muttered to himself,looking through his scans,he abruptly moved out of the way as the LBD began to approach the armor.

The footsteps echoed loudly throughout the sewer,sending dread throughout the spiders. They sweatdrop as she soon came to a stop,staring down at the armor,it's hollow eye sockets glowed a faint purple occasionally.

"It seems like we have acquired a new pawn to our ranks." LBD exclaimed coldly with a smirk on her face,sending a chill down the demon's spines. Spider Queen narrowed her eyes at her with mild suspicion.
