'XX Publishing House'

Is this the place that man gave me last night, isn't this a company? Ano kayang ginawa nang lalaki yun dito? Dito kaya siya nagtatrabaho? I mean possibly yes based on what I saw last night with him, he dresses well, has a car, and is wealthy as well.

Gladly the security guard let me pass by, I looked around and was amazed at how beautiful their lobby was, it was a publishing house, a lot of books hanging on the wall, ano kayang trabaho nang lalaki yun dito.

"H - Hi!" I greeted the woman at the front desk but she stared at me uncomfortably, she looked like she was judging me.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience, gusto ko lang sanag itanong kung dito ba nagtatarabaho si ano..." I held when I realized I never got a chance to know what's the name of that man last night.

"Sir sorry but I think we're not allowed to tell you anything, this company has a strict protocol when it comes to their employees!" She reasoned and the woman next to her nodded her head,

"I see, I'm sorry!" I apologized, kahit pa siguro payagan sila sabihin saakin hindi ko parin alam yung pangalan ng lalaki kagabi.

I went outside the building and sat on the bench on the side, I thought about calling his number but my phone has been dead since last night, nandito kasi ako ngayon para ibalik yung pera niya sa kanya.

Even though I needed money right now I just couldn't accept it especially that huge amount, hindi nga ako sigurado kung binigay niya nga yun para saakin, paano kung nagkamali lang siya at nagastos ko?

"S - Sir?" I looked up and a man in a suit, glanced at my luggage so I pulled it closer to me, dito pa naman kasi yung pero ng lalaki kagabi.

"Are you looking for someone?!" He stated so I stood up and I nodded my head, how did he know, was it obvious or did he see me coming out of the building?

"Yeah - Yeah, I'm looking for someone but I don't his name, I think he's working for this publishing house, he's taller than me, built nicely, and has a scar on the side of his neck!" I gasped but I held when he laughed.

"I see, follow me!" He laughed tearing up, I wondered what was so funny about what I said but does he know who am I talking to, then how?

We went back inside the building and everyone whom we ran to bowed their head to the man with me, I found it strange but maybe he was working in a higher position than everybody else's, ano kayang trabaho niya?

Hindi na kami dumaan ng front desk and kinuha niya yung luggage saakin bago kami pumasok ng elevator, I was scared for a second I thought he would take it away from me but he was trying to be a gentleman.

No one spoke to us, he was busy with his phone and I was busy observing him, to be fair to him he also looked fine, when the elevator opened I was immediately amazed by the office.

He went out first to the elevator with my luggage and he sat in his working chair, I didn't know what to do so I stood still outside the elevator staring at him cleaning his working table, maybe he was the director of this company.

"H - Hey why are you still there?" I looked back and I saw a wall, he was talking to me so I sat on the chair in front of him, of course, dalawa lang naman kami dito.

I saw on his table, no wonder everyone bowed down to him, he's the director of this company that's why he looks and smells expensive, ano kayang pakiramdam mabuhay ng ganito karangya?

"A - Anyway what's your business with that man?!" I looked down at my thigh and played with my nails, I'm not sure if I should tell him about the money.
