*Zero's POV*

"Y-You okay now?" I glanced at him then I nodded, though I felt awkward about what just happened.

"Y-Yeah!" I mumbled, umupo naman siya tabi ko sa dulo ng kama niya at nagulat ako ng lumapit si Lucas saakin.

"Hiii!" I giggled then I petted him.

"Lucas, buddy... that's enough with him!" Jaeshen chuckled and he was about to take Lucas away from me but I stopped him.

"It's fine!" I assured him, tumalon naman agad si Lucas ng kama at tumabi saakin. Then I suddenly remembered I still didn't thank him for taking me here, mabuti na yung pakiramdam ko.

"A-Anyway thank you Jaeshen, and I apologize if I was mean to you the first time we met when you're only trying to help me!" I mean it, sumandal naman ito ng kama gamit ang mga kamay niya.

"I told you I just wanted to help!" He smirked but I held when Lucas started barking then he off the bed, at lumabas ito ng kwarto.

"Worry not about him... I told you earlier I'm living alone!" I nodded but yeah going back about that, how is that possible he lives alone in this huge house?

"I'm sorry but don't you think this house is too much for you alone?!" Wala naman talaga sana akong pakialam tungkol dito, earlier when we ate downstairs I swear this house is no joke.

"Right, but Lucas is with me!" He laughed. "But yeah, my family used to live here but they migrated abroad so that is why!" I see.

"But you sure you're okay now?!" He glanced at me so I nodded, I thought talking about his family more but it would only make the situation awkward.

"Yes... after the medicine earlier and eating, I feel better. Madaming salamat talaga Jaeshen!" I bowed down but I flinched when he reached my hand.

"You have to regain your energy!" He smiled, and my face felt burning, hindi niya naman siguro kailangan pang hawakan yung kamay ko.

"Hmfp!" I mumbled then I gently pulled my hand from him but I stopped when he burst laughing.

"I'm s-sorry!" He pulled up himself but I wonder what's funny, o di kaya natawa siya sa reaction ko?

"If you don't mind may I know why you become like this? Sorry for the words, why did you become homeless?!" Homeless, yeah? I never imagined in my life someone would call me that.

"Homeless me?!" I smirked. "Well... it all started when my last job fired me unreasonably!" I laughed but my eyes felt heavy, ayokong umiyak.

"N-No!" He sighed but I nodded.

"It doesn't stop there... I tried to find a new job of course to sustain my living but no one accepted, tapos potangina landlord ng apartment ko pinayas na lang ako bigla-bigla!" I don't want to curse someone but I couldn't help it.

"I-I'm sorry Zero!" Jaeshen's eyes tell all, kaya hindi ko mapigilang umiyak na lang but he gently pulled the back of my head on his shoulder, I thought of moving away but instead, I cried harder on him.

"Please don't cry, this is my fault I shouldn't have asked you, I'm sorry!" I moved away from him then I shook my head, I'm just being emotional that's it.

"It's fine now, okay?!" He shed my tears but I stopped his hand immediately. "Don't be afraid!" He smiled then he continued shedding my tears.

"I-I'm not afraid this is just embarrassing!" My face flushed, I'm not sure if he noticed it but he laughed.

"What embarrassment?! I saw you naked already!" My eyes widened, I don't remember showing my body to him, I was inside the bathtub when I was naked.

"P-Please!" I breathed out, then tinignan ko ito ng seryoso.
